Sand Between the Sheets: A Salty, Sky-High Romp

The waves crashed in the background, providing a soothing soundtrack to the night. Sarah and Mia lay on their blankets, looking up at the starry sky.

Sarah glanced over at Mia's feet, noticing the sand that clung to her toes. "Look at you, Miss Beach Bum. You've got more sand in your toes than the entire beach."

Mia laughed, "At least I'm not afraid of a little sand. You're just a princess who can't handle getting a little dirty."

Sarah raised an eyebrow, "Oh, is that so? Well, if you think you're so tough, let's see who can build the best sandcastle."

Mia grinned, "You're on. But just so you know, I'm not going to go easy on you."

They spent the next hour building their sandcastles, each trying to outdo the other. Sarah made a comment about how they should have done this as kids, and Mia agreed.

As they finished their sandcastles, they took a step back to admire their work. Sarah made a comment about how beautiful the night was, and Mia agreed.

Sarah leaned in closer to Mia, saying "I'm glad it's just us out here. No one else to bother us."

Mia looked at Sarah, a playful smile on her face. "Yeah, it's nice to have some alone time. Just the two of us."

Sarah took Mia's hand, intertwining their fingers. Mia looked at her, surprised but not objecting.

Sarah leaned in closer, her lips inches from Mia's. Mia's heart raced, but she didn't pull away.

Sarah whispered, "You know what they say about the mile high club, right?"

Mia raised an eyebrow, "What's that?"

Sarah smirked, "Well, we're already halfway there. Might as well finish what we started."

Mia laughed, "You're crazy, you know that?"

Sarah pulled Mia in for a kiss, and they lost themselves in the moment. The waves continued to crash in the background, but they were oblivious to everything but each other.

As they broke apart, Sarah looked at Mia, a playful smile on her face. "I think we have a winner."

Mia grinned, "I think you're right. But I still think I could have beaten you if I tried harder."

Sarah laughed, "Oh, I have no doubt. But I'm just glad we did this. It was fun."

Mia nodded, "Yeah, it was. I'm glad we did this too."

They lay back down on their blankets, holding hands and looking up at the stars. The night was still young, and they had each other. And for now, that was all that mattered.
