Sands of Desire: When Isabela, the Demigod Timekeeper, Makes History Come Alive with Her Tantalizing Touch

The Hourglass Unveiled

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over Camp Half-Blood, the amphitheater buzzed with activity. Nestled in the heart of the camp, the amphitheater was an open-air theater where demigods gathered for various events, from training sessions to council meetings.

On this particular evening, Percy Jackson found himself in the amphitheater, wrestling with a history problem. He furrowed his brow, muttering to himself as he tried to recall the date, time, and person associated with a significant event in Greek mythology.

Just as he was about to throw in the towel, a confident Colombian girl with tan skin and dark brown hair strolled into the amphitheater. She wore a mischievous smirk on her face as she listened to Percy's dilemma.

"Struggling with the past, Percy?" she asked, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "How unsurprising."

Percy blinked, taken aback by the interruption. "Isabela, right?"

She nodded. "And you're Percy. The famous sea-boy."

Before Percy could respond, she offered the correct date, time, and person, leaving Percy stunned. "How did you-"

Annabeth, who had been watching the exchange with interest, raised an eyebrow. "She's smart... like Athena-smart."

Isabela rolled her eyes playfully. "Oh great, another brainiac comparing me to their precious Athena."

Percy couldn't help but feel a spark of excitement. "Wait, what if you are a child of Athena? It would make sense, given your knowledge and quick wit."

Isabela dismissed the idea with a wave of her hand. "I think I would know if I was related to the goddess of wisdom, don't you?"

Suddenly, an hourglass symbol appeared above Isabela's head, and a booming voice echoed through the amphitheater. "You have been claimed by Kronos, god of time. All hail Isabela Garcia, daughter of Kronos!"

The campers, who had been watching the scene unfold, stared in shock and awe. Leo, Piper, Nico, Will, Reyna, Talia, Jason, Frank, and Hazel all exchanged nervous glances.

Isabela grinned, seemingly unfazed by the revelation. "Well, it's about time I got some recognition around here."

Percy smirked. "Looks like you're stuck with us brainiacs now."

Isabela laughed. "I guess I can handle it, as long as you all stop acting like I'm made of glass."

Nico, with a mischievous grin, chimed in. "Don't worry, Isabela, we'll toughen you up. Or, you know, turn you into a statue."

She rolled her eyes. "Very funny, Nico. I can handle myself, thank you very much."

Leo tried to lighten the mood. "At least you'll never be late for dinner again!"

Isabela chuckled. "I can only hope that's a perk and not a curse."

As the campers gathered around Isabela, welcoming her to Camp Half-Blood, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She was eager to see what the god of time's daughter would bring to their world, and she was determined to prove that she was more than just a pretty face with a powerful legacy.

The hourglass had been unveiled, and the sands of time were shifting in a new and intriguing direction.
