The front door creaked open, and Sarah stepped into the familiar warmth of her family's living room. But the scene that greeted her was anything but usual.
Jake, her older brother, and his friend Max were in the middle of the room, scrambling to cover themselves with a blanket. Sarah's eyes widened in shock and confusion as she took in the sight.
"What the hell is going on here?" she demanded, her voice sharp and commanding.
Jake's face turned a deep shade of red as he stammered out a pathetic excuse. But Sarah was not one to be kept in the dark. She pressed him for the truth, her eyes narrowing as she waited for an answer.
Reluctantly, Jake admitted that he and Max had been "fooling around." Sarah couldn't hide her disgust at her brother's lack of judgment.
"Are you kidding me, Jake?" she spat. "You're supposed to be the smart one."
Jake looked down at his feet, feeling embarrassed and ashamed. But Sarah wasn't satisfied with his response. She turned her attention to Max, who was still naked and shaking in the corner.
Sarah couldn't help but be amused by his reaction. She asked him if he had enjoyed himself, her voice dripping with sarcasm. Max nodded his head, unable to speak.
Sarah's amusement turned to disbelief as she asked him if he wanted to do it again. Max nodded his head eagerly, a grin spreading across his face.
Shaking her head, Sarah told them to get dressed and never speak of this again. As she stormed out of the room, she couldn't help but think that her brother and his friend had a lot of explaining to do.
