The Haunted Star was bustling with activity as Sonny, Jason, Paul, and their respective entourages gathered around the bar, discussing business deals and exchanging pleasantries. The atmosphere was tense, but productive, until the door swung open and Lucas entered, his face pale and nervous.
Peyton stood by his side, her eyes wide with anticipation. Lucas took a deep breath and got down on one knee, causing the room to fall silent. "Peyton," he began, "I know we haven't known each other for long, but I can't imagine my life without you. Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"
Peyton's eyes filled with tears as she nodded eagerly, "Yes, Lucas, a thousand times yes!"
The room erupted in cheers and congratulations, but the celebration was short-lived as Jake Jagielski entered the room, his eyes locked on Peyton. Lucas' face fell as he yelled, "Sonny! Derek!" in alarm.
Sonny and Derek approached Jake with caution, Sonny reminding him that he was not welcome in Port Charles. Jake ignored them, his gaze never leaving Peyton. "I've come for her," he said simply.
Peyton's heart caught in her throat as she looked at Jake, memories of their past flooding back. She confesses that she still has feelings for him, but she has already promised herself to Lucas. Jake's heart shattered, but he nodded and left the room, leaving Peyton and Lucas alone.
Meanwhile, at The Grill, Casey, Emily, and Nathan watched the scene unfold on a live feed. Casey was visibly upset, but Emily and Nathan tried to console her. "He's not worth it, Casey," Emily said soothingly.
But Casey couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy as she watched Peyton and Lucas together. She had always had a crush on Lucas, and the thought of him with someone else was unbearable.
Back at The Haunted Star, Casey approached Peyton, playfully insulting her for choosing Jake over Lucas. "You could have had him, you know," Casey said with a smirk.
Peyton raised an eyebrow, unphased. "Lucas and I were never meant to be, Casey. You know that."
Casey's face fell, but she couldn't help but push back. "You deserve better than him, Peyton. You always have."
Peyton laughed, amused. "And who do you suggest I be with, then? You?"
Casey's eyes widened, and an alarm went off in her head. She had never considered pursuing Lucas before, but the thought of him with Peyton was unbearable. "I-I-I didn't mean it like that," she stammered.
Peyton smiled, enjoying the reaction. "Well, if you want him so badly, he's all yours."
Casey's heart raced as she realized what Peyton was suggesting. She had always had a crush on Lucas, but she never thought she had a chance. Suddenly, the possibility seemed within reach.
Meanwhile, back at The Grill, Julianna "Jules" Callaghan, Lucas' first love, entered the scene. Casey, sensing competition, became protective of Lucas and warned Jules to stay away.
Jules, unafraid, told Casey that Lucas was hers. Casey, unable to contain her anger, jumped on Jules, starting a catfight.
Midway through the catfight, they ended up in bed having sex in Jules' apartment. At the same time, Lucas and Elizabeth Webber, a nurse at GH, had sex in Lucas' apartment.
The chapter ended with both couples naked and satisfied, unaware of the drama that was about to unfold in the coming chapters. Little did they know, their actions would have far-reaching consequences, and the fallout would be explosive.
