The Aphrodite cabin was always filled with laughter and gossip, but today, Selina couldn't focus on the chatter. She was sitting on her bed, running her fingers through her black hair, lost in thought.
She had been feeling off for a few weeks now, and after taking a test in the health center, she found out she was pregnant. She knew she needed to tell Charles, her boyfriend, but she was nervous about how he would react.
She pulled Charles aside and took a deep breath before breaking the news. "Charles, we need to talk. I'm pregnant."
Charles's eyes widened in shock, but after a moment, he pulled Selina into a tight hug. "It's okay, Selina. We'll figure this out together."
Selina smiled, relieved that Charles was taking the news so well. But as they were talking, one of the older campers, a son of Demeter, walked by and did a double-take. "Selina, is that a...baby bump?"
Selina's hand instinctively went to her stomach, and she realized that her baby bump was starting to show. She was only three months pregnant, but if you looked closely, you could see it.
The rest of the Aphrodite cabin noticed too, and soon they were all surrounding Selina, asking questions and offering advice. Selina's cabinmates were a mix of helpful and nosy, but she appreciated their support. She knew that having a baby as a teenager wouldn't be easy, but with Charles by her side, she knew they could do it.
One of her cabinmates, a girl named Athena, asked, "What are you going to name the baby?"
Selina looked at Charles and grinned. "We haven't decided yet, but I'm thinking something strong and powerful, just like its dad."
Charles blushed and rolled his eyes. "Oh, here we go with the playful insults. I'm just a blacksmith's son, Selina."
Selina laughed. "Yeah, but you're my blacksmith's son. And you make the most amazing miniature statues for me."
Charles smiled and took Selina's hand. "I'll always be here for you, Selina. And for our baby."
The rest of the Aphrodite cabin cheered and clapped, and Selina felt a warmth in her heart. She knew that even though having a baby as a teenager wouldn't be easy, she wasn't alone.
She looked at Charles and knew that together, they could handle anything.
Selina couldn't wait to start this new chapter of her life with Charles by her side. She was excited, scared, and happy all at the same time. She knew that there would be challenges ahead, but she was ready to face them head-on.
As she looked around at her cabinmates, she knew that they would be there for her every step of the way. They would help her navigate this new world of motherhood, and she would be there for them when they needed her.
She took a deep breath and smiled, feeling more confident than ever. She was ready to take on the world, one day at a time.
