Bre lay sprawled out on her bed, her slender fingers deftly scrolling through her phone. Her pale skin seemed to glow in the dim light of her room, her green eyes fixated on a picture of JayJ. He was her older sister’s brother, and she had been harboring a crush on him for months.
With a dramatic sigh, she decided to take matters into her own hands. She texted JayJ, asking if he wanted to come over and help her with some homework. She smirked, knowing very well that they didn’t have any homework in common.
A few minutes later, there was a knock on her bedroom door. JayJ stood in the doorway, his blue eyes sparkling with amusement as he saw Bre’s mischievous grin. He had always found her funny and quirky, but he never thought of her in ‘that’ way.
Bre started flirting with JayJ, playfully insulting him and making jabs at his fluffy blonde hair. JayJ was taken aback, unsure of how to respond.
“You know, you’re not as bad-looking as I thought,” Bre said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “If you fixed that hair, you might even be tolerable.”
JayJ ran a hand through his hair, self-consciously. “Well, you’re not as annoying as I thought,” he shot back. “If you stopped talking, you might even be tolerable.”
Bre laughed, enjoying the banter. She decided to up the ante. She started talking about her kinks and fetishes, hoping to pique JayJ’s interest. JayJ blushed, stuttering out a response.
“W-what? I-I never knew you were into that sort of thing,” he said, his eyes wide with surprise.
Bre noticed JayJ’s discomfort and decided to back off a bit. She switched gears, asking him about his interests and hobbies. JayJ relaxed, enjoying the conversation.
As they talked, Bre couldn’t help but stare at JayJ’s lips. She imagined what it would be like to kiss him, to feel his body against hers. She shook her head, trying to focus on the conversation.
JayJ noticed Bre’s distracted gaze and asked her if she was okay. Bre blushed, stammering out a response. She confessed her crush on him, hoping that he felt the same way.
JayJ was taken aback. He never thought of Bre in that way, but now that she’d brought it up, he couldn’t deny the attraction. He told Bre that he needed time to think about it.
Bre was disappointed but understood. She thanked JayJ for coming over and saw him out. As he left, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of longing.
Bre spent the rest of the night thinking about JayJ. She wondered if he’d ever come around, if they’d ever be together. She fell asleep with a smile on her face, hopeful for the future.
