The family bathroom was a battlefield of chaos, a cramped, steamy hellhole where privacy was a myth and the flickering fluorescent light buzzed like a dying wasp. The cracked mirror reflected the mess of a shared sibling household—half-empty shampoo bottles, crumpled towels, and a hairbrush that hadn’t seen a proper cleaning in months. The air was thick with the scent of lavender body wash and humidity, the tiny window fogged over from a recent shower.
Timmy, all eighteen years of lanky awkwardness, hovered just outside the slightly ajar door, his heart thumping like a jackhammer. His mop of unruly brown hair fell into his eyes as he craned his neck, trying to catch a glimpse of… well, he wasn’t entirely sure what he was hoping to see, but the thrill of the forbidden had him hooked. His older sister, Vanessa, was in there, fresh out of the shower, and the mere thought of her made his palms sweaty and his breath short. He knew it was wrong—God, did he know—but curiosity had a way of overriding common sense.
He edged closer, his sneakers squeaking traitorously on the tiled hallway floor, when the door suddenly flew open with a bang. There she stood, Vanessa, all five-foot-nine of pure, unadulterated intimidation. Her damp, raven-black hair clung to her shoulders, and a towel was wrapped tightly around her toned, athletic frame—years of being a fitness trainer had sculpted her into something damn near statuesque. Her piercing green eyes locked onto him, and a wicked grin spread across her face, sharp as a blade.
“Well, well, well,” she purred, her voice dripping with dangerous amusement. “What do we have here? A pathetic little perv trying to get his rocks off spying on his own sister?”
Timmy froze, his face turning a shade of red that could rival a tomato. “I—I wasn’t—Vanessa, I swear, I was just—”
“Save it, creep,” she snapped, cutting him off with a wave of her hand. Before he could bolt, she grabbed him by the collar of his faded T-shirt and yanked him inside the bathroom, slamming the door shut behind them. The lock clicked with a finality that made his stomach drop. “You’re not going anywhere until I’m done with you.”
“Vanessa, come on, I didn’t mean—” he stammered, tripping over his own feet as she shoved him back against the sink. His gangly limbs flailed for balance, and he nearly knocked over a bottle of conditioner in the process.
“Oh, shut up, Timmy,” she said, crossing her arms over her chest, the towel shifting just enough to make his eyes dart away in panic. She noticed and smirked. “Eyes up here, loser. You think you can just sneak around like some desperate little puppy and not face the consequences? I don’t think so.”
He swallowed hard, his Adam’s apple bobbing. “I’m sorry, okay? I’ll leave, I’ll never do it again, I—”
“Sorry?” She barked out a laugh, sharp and cutting. “Oh, sweetheart, sorry doesn’t cut it. You’ve been caught red-handed, and now you’re gonna learn what happens when you cross me.” She took a step closer, her presence looming even in the tiny space, and tilted her head to study him like a predator sizing up prey. “You’re such a mess, you know that? Look at you, all shaky and pathetic. Bet you’ve never even been this close to a woman without tripping over your own tongue.”
Timmy’s cheeks burned hotter, if that was even possible. “That’s not true! I—I’ve been close to plenty of… people.”
“People?” Vanessa raised an eyebrow, her grin widening. “Oh, please. Your hand doesn’t count, dork. And don’t even try to lie to me—I can see right through you. You’re practically drooling, and I haven’t even started yet.”
“Started what?” he squeaked, his voice cracking under the pressure of her gaze. He backed up further, but there was nowhere to go—the sink dug into his lower back, and Vanessa was a wall of control blocking his escape.
She leaned in, her voice dropping to a low, teasing growl. “Teaching you a lesson, little brother. You wanna play peeping Tom? Fine. But you’re gonna play by *my* rules now.” She pointed to the floor, her tone leaving no room for argument. “Kneel.”
His eyes widened to the size of saucers. “What? No way, Vanessa, I’m not—”
“Kneel,” she repeated, her voice like steel, her eyes flashing with a mix of amusement and authority. “Or I drag you out of here by your ear and let Mom and Dad know exactly what kind of creep they’ve raised. Your choice, Timmy. I’ve got all day.”
He hesitated, his pride and panic warring in his chest, but the look on her face told him she wasn’t bluffing. With a defeated groan, he sank to his knees on the cold, damp tile, his hands fidgeting nervously in his lap. “This is ridiculous,” he muttered under his breath.
“Ridiculous?” Vanessa echoed, stepping closer until she towered over him, one hand on her hip. “No, what’s ridiculous is you thinking you could sneak a peek and get away with it. Now, look at me.”
He dragged his gaze up reluctantly, his face a mask of flustered embarrassment. She smirked down at him, clearly reveling in her power. “Good boy. See? Was that so hard? You’re already learning to listen. Maybe there’s hope for you yet.”
“Vanessa, please,” he mumbled, his voice barely above a whisper. “Can we just forget this ever happened?”
“Forget it?” She laughed again, the sound rich and mocking. “Oh, no, Timmy. I’m gonna make sure you remember this for the rest of your sad little life. You’ve got a lot to learn about boundaries, and lucky for you, I’m a *very* patient teacher.” She bent down slightly, her face inches from his, her voice a sultry whisper. “But I warn you, I don’t go easy on my students. You’re in for a world of humiliation, kiddo. Think you can handle it?”
He opened his mouth to protest, but no words came out—just a pathetic little squeak that made her grin even wider. “That’s what I thought,” she said, straightening up. “Now, stay there like a good little perv while I figure out exactly how to make this lesson stick. And don’t even think about moving, or I’ll make this ten times worse.”
Timmy stayed put, his heart racing, his mind a whirlwind of embarrassment and something else—something he wasn’t ready to name. Vanessa paced the small bathroom, her movements deliberate, every step a reminder of who was in charge. The flickering light cast shadows across her face, making her look both dangerous and untouchable, and as she glanced back at him with that wicked, knowing smile, he realized he was in way over his head.
This was only the beginning.
