The sun streamed through the window, casting a warm glow over the bedroom as the tomboy sister sat at her vanity. She was surrounded by an array of makeup and hair products, her short hair styled in a messy bun. She wore a comfortable t-shirt and jeans, her usual attire.
The door creaked open, and her little brother entered the room. He was dressed in a frilly pink dress and a pair of shiny black heels. His face was etched with nervousness and uncertainty.
The tomboy sister turned to him and raised an eyebrow. "Well, don't you look fancy?" she said, a smirk playing on her lips.
The little brother blushed and fidgeted with the hem of the dress. "I...I've been feeling more feminine lately," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "But I'm afraid of what others will think."
The tomboy sister stood up and walked over to him. She placed a hand on his shoulder and looked him in the eye. "It's okay to be yourself, little brother," she said, her voice firm and reassuring. "And I'll always support you, no matter what."
The little brother's face lit up, and he smiled gratefully at his sister. "Really?"
She nodded. "Absolutely. Now, let's get you all dolled up."
She pulled out a chair for him and started rummaging through her makeup collection. She pulled out a bottle of foundation and a concealer stick. "Alright, first things first. We need to even out your skin tone."
As she applied the makeup to his face, they chatted about their favorite TV shows and video games. The tomboy sister playfully teased him about his love for dresses and makeup, but there was no malice in her words. She was just having fun with her little brother.
The little brother laughed and told her that she was just jealous because she could never pull off a dress as well as he could.
The tomboy sister rolled her eyes. "Please, I would look ridiculous in a dress. You're lucky you're cute."
They continued to banter back and forth as the tomboy sister applied eyeshadow and eyeliner to his eyes. The little brother watched in the mirror as his features became more feminine, and he started to feel more confident.
The tomboy sister noticed the change in his demeanor and smiled. She was happy that she could help him feel more comfortable in his own skin.
She finished his makeup with a swipe of lip gloss and stood back to admire her work. The little brother looked at himself in the mirror and couldn't believe how different he looked. He thanked his sister for her help and gave her a hug.
The tomboy sister hugged him back and told him that she'd always be there for him, no matter what. She ruffled his hair and told him to go show off his new look.
The little brother left the room, his head held high. The tomboy sister watched him go, a proud smile on her face. She was glad that she could help him be himself.
And she knew that no matter what anyone else thought, her little brother was perfect just the way he was.
