Socketed Submission: A Cybernetic Seduction

### Chapter One: Sweet Sixteen and Socketed Up

The sterile scent of antiseptic stung Lila’s nose as she paced the confines of her tiny prep room in the high-tech medical facility. Outside, the city pulsed with life—towering skyscrapers piercing the smoggy sky, neon lights flickering like a heartbeat. But inside, in the specialized wing for female modification surgeries, the air was cold, clinical, and suffocating. Tomorrow was the big day—her sixteenth birthday, the mandatory age for all girls to undergo the procedure that would strip them of their natural limbs and socket them up with cybernetic replacements. Lila’s fiery spirit churned beneath her skin, barely masking the fear clawing at her chest.

“Stop wearing a hole in the floor, Lila,” Mara called from her perch on the narrow cot, her own nerves betrayed by the way her fingers fidgeted with the hem of her hospital gown. “You look like a caged animal. Oh wait, tomorrow you’ll be a caged *cyborg*.”

Lila shot her best friend a withering glare, her sharp tongue ready as ever. “Oh, please, Mara. I’m gonna be a plug-and-play princess, and you’re just jealous ‘cause your sockets won’t be half as shiny as mine.”

Mara barked a laugh, tossing her dark hair over her shoulder. “Shiny? Girl, you’re gonna need a firmware update for that attitude before they even let you boot up. Bet they’ll install a mute button just for you.”

“Better than the glitchy mess they’ll turn you into,” Lila fired back, crossing her arms. “What’s your first mod gonna be? A broom attachment so you can sweep up your own bullshit?”

Their banter was cut short by the heavy click of boots on the tiled floor. The door slid open with a hiss, and in strode Dr. Vex, a commanding futa surgeon whose presence seemed to suck the air from the room. Her sleek black medical uniform clung to her muscular frame, accentuating every curve and line of authority. Her piercing gaze swept over Lila first, a mix of clinical detachment and something darker—something hungry—lurking in her amber eyes.

“Well, well,” Dr. Vex drawled, her voice low and smooth as she crossed her arms, clipboard in hand. “If it isn’t Lila Voss, the little spitfire who’ll look perfect plugged in. And Mara Kline, the sidekick with a mouth almost as big. Ready to become the city’s newest toys?”

Lila’s jaw tightened, but she forced a smirk. “Oh, Doc, you sound way too excited about carving us up. What, do they give you a bonus for every limb you lop off, or do you just get off on it?”

Dr. Vex’s lips curled into a smirk, her gaze sharpening as she stepped closer. “Careful, brat. I’ve got plenty of ways to teach mouthy little things like you some manners post-op. You’ll be begging for my approval once those sockets are in.”

“Dream on, socket-freak,” Lila muttered, though her voice wavered just enough to betray her nerves.

Dr. Vex ignored the jab, her tone shifting to cold efficiency as she flipped through her clipboard. “Listen up, both of you. Tomorrow, we remove your limbs—arms, legs, the works. Cybernetic sockets will be installed at each joint, wired directly into your nervous system. You’ll be compatible with any standard mod attachment the city provides. It’s non-negotiable, irreversible, and government-mandated. Any questions, or are you too busy mouthing off?”

Mara, ever the instigator, piped up with a sly grin. “Yeah, I got one. Do the tail mods come with vibrate mode, or do I gotta pay extra for that?”

Lila couldn’t help but snort, a reluctant chuckle escaping her lips despite the tension. Dr. Vex, however, wasn’t amused. Her glare could’ve frozen fire as she turned on Mara. “Keep it up, Kline, and I’ll make sure your first mod is a gag. Now, both of you—strip. Pre-op scans start now.”

The command hung in the air like a guillotine blade. Lila’s stomach churned, but she jutted her chin out defiantly, peeling off the flimsy gown with deliberate slowness. Mara followed suit, though her bravado faltered as she muttered, “Great, now we’re just meat on display.”

Dr. Vex circled them as the scanning equipment hummed to life, her eyes raking over their bodies with a mix of professional scrutiny and something far less clinical. “Not bad,” she mused, her voice dripping with control. “Unmodified potential like this… it’s almost a shame to socket you up. Almost.”

Lila’s cheeks burned with humiliation, but she refused to cower. Under her breath, she hissed, “One day, I’m gonna turn the tables on you futas. See how you like being the ones on display.”

Dr. Vex’s sharp ears caught the whisper. She leaned in close, her breath hot against Lila’s ear as she murmured, “Oh, sweetheart, that fiery spirit of yours is gonna make you a favorite pet once you’re modified. I can’t wait to see you try to fight with those shiny new sockets.”

A shiver ran down Lila’s spine, involuntary and infuriating. She snapped her head back, meeting Dr. Vex’s gaze with pure venom. “Call me a pet again, you socket-obsessed creep, and I’ll make sure my first mod is a blade just for you.”

The futa’s smirk widened, amusement glinting in her eyes. “Oh, I like that spark. Don’t worry, Lila. I’ll personally oversee your recovery. We’re going to have so much fun.”

Before Lila could retort, the door slid open again, and a trio of futa nurses entered, their hands gloved and their expressions unreadable. They moved with efficiency, but their touches lingered just a fraction too long as they adjusted the scanning equipment and prepped the girls for transport. Lila caught Mara’s nervous glance and rolled her eyes, whispering, “Bet they’re just dying to plug us in themselves.”

“Bet they’ve got a betting pool on who cracks first,” Mara whispered back, her voice shaky but laced with humor. “My money’s on you, tough girl.”

“Pfft, please,” Lila scoffed. “I’m not the one who’s gonna cry like a baby during surgery.”

Mara managed a shaky laugh, but the moment was fleeting. The nurses finished their scans, and one of them gestured to the gurney waiting for Lila. Her bravado began to crack as they strapped her down, the cold metal biting into her skin. Her heart raced, a wild drumbeat in her chest, but she clenched her jaw, refusing to let it show.

Dr. Vex loomed over her, her presence suffocating as she gave the final order. “Sedate her first. Let’s get this little firecracker ready for her new life.” Her tone dripped with anticipation, her amber eyes glinting as she added, “We’ll have plenty of fun once you’re awake and modified, Lila.”

Lila wanted to spit out one last insult, but the nurse’s needle pricked her arm, and a cold wave of numbness began to spread. Her vision blurred, the sterile room tilting as Dr. Vex’s face faded into shadow. Her last conscious thought was a stubborn, burning vow: they could take her body, socket her up, turn her into whatever they wanted, but they’d never break her spirit. Never.

In the background, the faint hum of surgical tools started up, a chilling counterpoint to Lila’s fading defiance. The transformation was beginning, and with it, a future she couldn’t yet fathom—but one she’d fight tooth and nail to control.
