The family's dining room was filled with the delicious aroma of Nora's homemade spaghetti and meatballs. Hayden, the newest addition to the family, sat at the table across from Nora, the mother figure, and her two daughters, Hennie and Andy.
"I have to say, Hayden, I'm impressed," Nora said, her eyes sparkling with approval. "You have such good manners. Such a gentleman."
Hayden blushed at the compliment, his cheeks turning a deep shade of red. "Thank you, Nora. I try my best."
Hennie, the athletic and competitive one, chimed in. "That's all well and good, but let's see how well you do on the basketball court."
Hayden raised an eyebrow in intrigue. "You want to play basketball?"
Hennie grinned. "I challenge you to a friendly game. After dinner, of course."
Hayden accepted the challenge, eager to prove himself.
