Chapter One
Aniya stood in front of the full-length mirror, her eyes admiring the reflection of her post-pregnancy body. She ran her fingers over the stretch marks that adorned her stomach, a testament to the two beautiful boys she had brought into the world. Her body had gone through an incredible transformation, and she couldn’t help but marvel at the strength it had shown her.
The door to their bedroom creaked open, and Hermes walked in, noticing Aniya’s deep concentration. He approached her from behind, wrapping his arms around her waist, and resting his chin on her shoulder. “You look lost in thought, my love,” he said, his voice soft and soothing.
Aniya jumped, startled by Hermes’s sudden appearance. She playfully elbowed him in the stomach, “You scared me, Hermes!” she exclaimed, her voice filled with mock annoyance.
Hermes chuckled, “I’m sorry, my love. I didn’t mean to.” He pressed a gentle kiss on her shoulder, the warmth of his lips sending a shiver down Aniya’s spine.
Aniya relaxed in his embrace, taking in his warmth and the familiar scent of his cologne. She glanced at their reflection in the mirror, her stomach still bearing the marks of her twin pregnancy. “Look at my body,” Aniya said, her voice filled with curiosity.
Hermes looked at their reflection, admiring Aniya’s strength and beauty. “I think you look gorgeous, darling,” he responded, his voice sincere.
Aniya raised an eyebrow, “Gorgeous, huh? Even with these?” She pointed to her stretch marks, a hint of self-consciousness creeping into her voice.
Hermes grinned, “Especially with those. They’re a testament to your power, Aniya. You brought two beautiful souls into this world. They’re a part of you, and I love every inch of you.”
Aniya rolled her eyes, “You’re such a charmer, Hermes.”
Hermes laughed, “And you’re the goddess of mischief and pranks. I wouldn’t have you any other way.”
Aniya smiled, her heart swelling with love for her husband. She turned to face him, her hands resting on his chest. “I love you, Hermes,” she said, her voice soft.
Hermes wrap his arms around her, “I love you too, Aniya.”
They stood there for a moment, lost in each other’s eyes. Aniya’s stretch marks a reminder of the love they share and the family they’ve built together. She knew that her body would never be the same, but she also knew that she wouldn’t want it any other way. She was a goddess, a mother, and a wife, and she wore her stretch marks with pride.
