Sumaiya sat hunched over her desk, her eyes glued to the spreadsheet in front of her. The numbers blurred together as her mind wandered to Shekhar, her boyfriend of three years who lived abroad. She missed him terribly, and the neglect she felt was starting to take its toll.

Robert took a step closer to her desk, his eyes never leaving hers. "Well, you know what they say, all work and no play makes Sumaiya a dull girl."
Sumaiya raised an eyebrow at him. "Is that supposed to be a pick-up line?"
Robert laughed, his charm and persistence winning her over. "No, just a friendly reminder to take a break every now and then. You're too beautiful to be cooped up in this office all the time."
Sumaiya felt her cheeks flush at the compliment. "You're just saying that to butter me up."
Robert shook his head. "No, I mean it. You're smart, beautiful, and successful. You deserve to be with someone who makes you feel loved and desired."
Sumaiya was taken aback. She had never thought of Robert in that way before. Sure, he was attractive, but she had always seen him as a friend. Now, she was starting to see him in a different light.
