The garden was a riot of color and scent, the sunlight dappling through the leaves of the trees and casting dappled shadows across the grass. It was the perfect setting for a gathering of goddesses, each one of them a force to be reckoned with in their own right.
Brigitte was the first to arrive, her golden curls bouncing as she walked, a playful smile on her lips. She carried Solace in her arms, the baby cooing and gurgling as she approached the other goddesses. "Hera, Amphitrite, Persephone," she greeted, her voice warm and welcoming. "Look at your beautiful babies."
Hera was next, her regal bearing and air of superiority evident even as she cooed over the babies. "Jason is doing so well," she said, a hint of pride in her voice. "He took his first steps at eight months, a month earlier than Solace."
Amphitrite rolled her eyes, a smile playing at the corners of her lips. "Perseus was crawling at four months and had his first words at nine months," she retorted.
Persephone, ever the calm and serene one, added with a sly grin, "Nico and Bianca were both speaking in full sentences by the time they were a year old."
Brigitte, not to be outdone, shared, "Solace has an exceptional memory. He can recall events from when he was just a few months old."
Hera, with a playful insult, asked, "Are you trying to make up for your husband's lack of attention by showering Solace with praise?"
Brigitte, with a laugh, agreed, "Apollo can be distracted, but he's a loving father in his own way."
Amphitrite shared a similar experience with her husband, Poseidon.
Persephone, with a serious tone, mentioned that Hades was a strict father but fair.
The goddesses continued to share stories and experiences, laughing and bonding over their roles as mothers. They discussed how their husbands reacted when their babies took their first steps.
Hera shared that Zeus was so proud, he threw a thunderstorm.
Brigitte shared that Apollo was so excited, he played a triumphant melody on his lyre.
Amphitrite shared that Poseidon was so thrilled, he caused a small tidal wave.
Persephone, with a sigh, mentioned that Hades simply nodded and gave Nico and Bianca a firm handshake.
The goddesses laughed, the sound ringing out in the garden, as they continued to share stories, enjoying each other's company. It was a rare moment of camaraderie and friendship, a reminder that even the strongest of goddesses needed each other's support and understanding.
