The lush gardens of Mount Olympus were alive with vibrant colors and exotic scents as Brigette, Hera, Amphimtrite, and Persephone arrived, each carrying a baby in their arms. The goddesses greeted each other warmly, their voices echoing off the marble columns of the grand palace.
"Hera, your garden is as stunning as ever," Brigette said, her eyes taking in the riot of flowers and plants. "I swear, if I didn't have my own little patch of heaven, I'd be tempted to steal some of your secrets."
Hera laughed, her eyes twinkling. "Brigette, my dear, you are too kind. And besides, your own little paradise is enough to make any goddess green with envy."
Amphimtrite rolled her eyes. "Please, you two. Let's not start with the playful insults about each other's godly domains. I came here to relax, not to listen to you two bicker."
Persephone grinned. "Oh, come on, Amphimtrite. Where's your sense of fun? Besides, I have a feeling this is just the beginning."
Brigette chuckled and took a seat at the large, ornate table in the center of the gardens. "Alright, alright. Let's change the subject. How are the babies doing? I heard Jason took his first steps recently."
Hera beamed with pride. "Yes, he did! Six months old and already walking. I swear, he's going to be a force to be reckoned with."
Amphimtrite scoffed. "Six months? Perseus didn't take his first steps until he was nine months old. I thought I was going to go mad waiting for him to take off."
Persephone laughed. "Well, at least you didn't have to wait long. Both of my children, Nico and Bianca, took their first steps at the same time. Can you imagine the frenzy in the Underworld?"
The goddesses laughed and reminisced about the proud and surprised expressions on their husbands' faces when their babies took their first steps. The conversation turned to the baby's first words, and Hera proudly shared that Jason's first word was "Mommy".
Amphimtrite revealed that Perseus's first word was "fish", much to the amusement of the other goddesses. Persephone shared that Nico's first word was "darkness" and Bianca's was "mother", causing a moment of contemplation among the group.
Brigette admitted that Solace's first word was "candy", which brought a round of laughter from the group. The goddesses continued to share stories about their babies, including their mischievous acts and endearing moments.
Hera playfully insulted Brigette for being too soft on Solace, while Brigette retorted that Hera needed to lighten up and have more fun. Amphimtrite shared a story about Perseus's first swim in the ocean, and how he took to it like a natural.
Persephone shared a story about Nico's fascination with the shadows and Bianca's love for flowers. The goddesses continued to bond over their shared experiences as mothers, and expressed their gratitude for having each other as friends.
As the sun began to set, the goddesses bid farewell, each carrying a renewed sense of joy and friendship. They made a pact to meet regularly to share stories and support each other in their roles as goddesses and mothers.
And as they left, the gardens of Mount Olympus seemed a little brighter, a little more alive, with the knowledge that they were a gathering of goddesses, strong, controlling, and direct, who were there for each other, no matter what.
