Sweet Treats and Salty Tears: The Goddesses' Scandalous Tales of Pregnancy, Power and Playful Insults

Chapter One: Gathering of Goddesses

The air in Brigitte’s Candyland Palace was thick with the sweet aroma of cotton candy and the colorful landscapes of her kingdom provided the perfect backdrop for the gathering of goddesses. Brigitte, Hera, Amphitrite, and Persephone sat in a circle, their bellies round with the promise of new life.

Brigitte, with a playful smile, turned to the goddesses and asked, “So, my dear sisters, what are your pregnancy cravings? I’m dying to know.”

Hera admitted to having a sudden desire for pickles and ice cream, while Amphitrite couldn’t get enough of seafood. Persephone confessed her craving for fresh fruits, especially pomegranates.

Brigitte shared her struggle with morning sickness, causing Hera to chuckle and say, “At least you’re not kept awake all night, dear Brigitte. I envy you.”

Amphitrite complained about her tender breasts, to which Persephone jokingly suggested, “Maybe it’s Poseidon’s way of trying to get closer to you, Amphitrite.”

The goddesses laughed and shared stories about how their husbands have been treating them since they got pregnant. Hera shared her frustration with Zeus’s constant attempts to “help” with the pregnancy, while Brigitte mentioned Apollo’s newfound fascination with baby names.

Persephone revealed that Hades has been distant since she told him about the pregnancy, causing the goddesses to express their concern. Persephone, however, dismissed their worries with a wave of her hand.

The goddesses discussed their pregnancy symptoms, comparing notes on their experiences. Hera shared her trouble sleeping, while Amphitrite mentioned her increased emotional sensitivity.

Brigitte asked the goddesses about their reaction to the gender of their babies. Hera, Amphitrite, and Brigitte are having boys, while Persephone is having a boy and a girl.

Persephone shared her vivid dreams, both good and bad, causing the goddesses to lean in with interest. She described a recent dream where she was ruling over both the underworld and the mortal world.

The goddesses shared their own experiences with dreams during pregnancy, with Amphitrite mentioning a dream where she controlled the oceans.

Brigitte shared her excitement about having a son, but also expressed her concern about raising a boy in a world full of chaos. Hera reassured her, saying, “You’ll be a great mother, Brigitte. And your son will be lucky to have you.”

The goddesses continued to share their hopes and fears for their children, laughing and crying together as they bonded over their shared experiences.

As the gathering came to a close, Brigitte thanked the goddesses for coming and shared a playful insult with each of them. She called Hera “Queen of the Insomniacs,” Amphitrite “Lady of the Lactating Bosoms,” and Persephone “Mistress of the Multitude.”

The goddesses laughed and said their goodbyes, leaving Brigitte’s palace with renewed energy and a sense of connection.

As they left, Brigitte watched them go with a smile, feeling grateful for their friendship and support. She knew that the road ahead would be filled with challenges, but she also knew that she’s not alone.

“Until next time, my goddesses,” Brigitte called out, her voice echoing through the candy-coated halls of her palace.
