Sweet Treats and Salty Tears: The Pregnant Goddesses' Guide to Husbands, Cravings, and Gender Reveals

Chapter One: Pregnancy Cravings and Godly Husbands

The sun shone brightly over the candy-coated rooftops of Brigitte's Candyland Palace, casting a warm, sweet-smelling glow over the gathering of four goddesses. Brigitte, Hera, Amphitrite, and Persphone sat in a circle in the palace's central garden, surrounded by vibrant, edible flowers and sparkling fountains.

Brigitte, her golden curls cascading down her shoulders, sighed deeply and rubbed her belly. "I'm telling you, I've never experienced anything like this morning sickness. It's as if Apollo's arrows have been replaced with nausea-inducing javelins."

Hera, her regal posture ever present, nodded in understanding. "I know the feeling all too well. Zeus's thunderous snores haven't helped my lack of sleep either."

Amphitrite, her blue-green locks shimmering like the ocean, giggled. "At least your husbands are still themselves, more or less. I can't seem to go a day without Poseidon accidentally flooding our chambers due to his newfound fascination with all things baby-related."

Persphone, her dark hair adorned with pomegranate blossoms, rolled her eyes. "At least Poseidon's enthusiasm is better than Hades' usual gloomy demeanor. I never thought I'd see the day where he'd be supportive and attentive."

The goddesses laughed at the absurdity of Persphone's dreams involving Hades. Brigitte shared her experience with Apollo, whose excitement had led to a series of failed attempts at cooking. The group burst into laughter at the thought of Apollo's burnt offerings.

As the laughter subsided, Hera brought up the topic of the gender of their unborn children. All four goddesses expected boys, with Persphone sharing her surprise at having a boy and a girl. The others teased her about handling a household with both genders.

Brigitte then asked about their husbands' behavior since the pregnancies. Hera shared her frustration with Zeus's sudden need for peace and quiet, while Amphitrite mentioned Poseidon's newfound fascination with all things baby-related. Persphone shared her experience with Hades, who had been surprisingly helpful and attentive.

As the conversation continued, the goddesses formed a strong bond, sharing stories and enjoying each other's company. They navigated their pregnancies together, their friendship strengthened by their shared experiences and the support they offered one another. The laughter and love within Brigitte's Candyland Palace was a testament to the power of sisterhood, even among goddesses.
