The living room of the gods' residence in Mount Olympus was bathed in the soft glow of the morning sun, casting a warm light on Aniya, the goddess of pranks and mischief. She lay on the plush couch, her tan skin glowing and her curly brown hair cascading down her shoulders. Her eyes were closed as she took deep breaths, trying to recover from her morning sickness.
The scent of fresh flowers and ambrosia filled the air as Hermes, Aniya's husband, entered the room. His eyes sparkled with mischief as he approached his wife, a playful grin on his face.
"Good morning, my love," Hermes whispered, leaning over the couch to place a tender kiss on Aniya's forehead.
Aniya opened her eyes, a soft smile playing on her lips. "Morning, Hermes. I'm not feeling my best." She gestured towards her round belly, indicating the morning sickness.
Hermes chuckled, running his fingers through Aniya's hair. "I can see that. But you're still the most beautiful woman I've ever laid eyes on."
Aniya rolled her eyes playfully. "Oh, please. You're just saying that because you're trying to get in my good graces."
Hermes feigned innocence. "Who, me? Never!" He winked at Aniya, causing her to laugh.
Hermes then moved his hand to rest gently on Aniya's belly, feeling the movement of their unborn twin boys. "How are our little rascals today?"
Aniya's smile softened as she placed her hand over Hermes'. "They're active as ever. I think they're going to take after their father."
Hermes grinned, kissing Aniya's belly. "I hope so. I can't wait to meet them."
Aniya's gaze turned serious. "I know. And I'm grateful to have you by my side during this journey."
Hermes leaned in, whispering in Aniya's ear. "And I'm grateful to have you, my love. You make every day an adventure."
Aniya blushed at Hermes' words, her heart swelling with love. She wrapped her arms around Hermes, pulling him closer.
In a playful tone, Aniya said, "You know, you're not so bad yourself, Hermes. Even if you are a little full of yourself."
Hermes laughed, nuzzling against Aniya's neck. "Oh, come on. You can't deny that I'm charming."
Aniya laughed, her morning sickness forgotten as she lost herself in the moment with her husband. She couldn't wait to see what the day had in store for them.
