Tears of Desire

Tears of Desire

Chapter 1: The Spark of Tears

The air in the Kageyama household was thick with tension, a storm brewing over something as trivial as forgotten groceries. Hinata, with her fiery orange hair tied back in a messy bun, stood in the kitchen, hands on her hips, her amber eyes blazing. 'You couldn’t even remember the damn milk, Kageyama? I asked you three times!' Her voice was sharp, cutting through the silence of their cozy apartment.

Kageyama, taller and brooding, leaned against the counter, her dark hair falling into her piercing blue eyes. She crossed her arms, a smirk tugging at her lips. 'Maybe if you didn’t nag me like I’m some clueless kid, I’d remember. Ever think of that, sunshine?' Her tone was biting, but there was a glint in her eye, a challenge.

Hinata’s face flushed with frustration, her petite frame practically vibrating with irritation. 'Oh, so it’s my fault now? You’re unbelievable! I’m out here busting my ass to keep this place together, and you can’t even—' Her voice cracked, and suddenly, tears welled up in her eyes. They spilled over, glistening trails down her cheeks, and Kageyama froze.

There it was. That breathtaking sight. Hinata, fierce and unyielding, looked like a goddess even in her anger, her tears catching the dim kitchen light like diamonds. Kageyama’s breath hitched, her heart pounding in a way that was far from innocent. She’d never admit it out loud, but seeing Hinata cry—those raw, unguarded moments—did something to her. Something dark and hungry.

'Hey, hey, don’t cry,' Kageyama said quickly, stepping forward, her voice softer now, almost tender. But inside, a twisted thrill curled in her chest. She wanted to see it again. 'I’m sorry, okay? I’ll get the damn milk tomorrow.'

Hinata wiped her eyes fiercely, glaring up at her. 'Don’t patronize me, Tobio. I’m not some fragile flower. I’m just... tired of this.' Her voice was still sharp, but the vulnerability in her tears lingered, and Kageyama couldn’t look away.

The next few days, Kageyama found herself testing the waters. She’d ‘forget’ little things—Hinata’s favorite snack, a promised movie night—watching with bated breath for that flash of emotion. Each time Hinata’s eyes shimmered with frustration or hurt, Kageyama felt that same rush, a heat pooling low in her belly. She told herself it was fine. She was just... appreciating her wife’s beauty. That’s normal, right? Loving every part of her, even the tears?

But on a windy night, as the curtains fluttered wildly in their bedroom, the storm broke. Hinata stood before her, arms crossed, her expression a mix of fury and betrayal. 'WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?' she screamed, her voice raw with emotion. 'I found the notes, Tobio! You’ve been doing this on purpose—pushing me, making me cry. What the hell is wrong with you?'

Kageyama’s heart dropped, her usual cool facade crumbling as she looked away, panic clawing at her. 'I... I didn’t mean for it to be like this,' she stammered, her voice low, almost a whisper. 'I just... you’re so beautiful when you cry, Hinata. I couldn’t help it. I’m sorry, I—'

Hinata’s eyes widened, a mix of shock and something unreadable flickering across her face. 'Beautiful?' she snapped, stepping closer, her presence commanding despite her smaller stature. 'You think this is some kind of game? My feelings aren’t your damn entertainment!' But even as she spoke, her voice trembled, and those tears—those cursed, captivating tears—threatened to spill again.

Kageyama’s gaze darkened, her breath catching as she reached out, her hand hovering near Hinata’s cheek. 'I know I’m messed up for this,' she admitted, her voice husky, raw with want. 'But seeing you like this... it drives me crazy. I’m sorry, but I’m not sorry for wanting you. All of you.'

Hinata’s breath hitched, her anger warring with something hotter, something primal. She slapped Kageyama’s hand away, but didn’t step back. 'You’re such an idiot,' she hissed, her voice dripping with venom and something else—desire. 'If you wanted me, you didn’t have to play these stupid games.'

The air between them crackled, electric and dangerous. Kageyama’s eyes locked onto Hinata’s, her body tense, aching. 'Then show me,' she challenged, her voice a low growl. 'Show me how much you hate me right now.'

Hinata’s lips parted, her chest heaving, and in a flash, she grabbed Kageyama by the collar, pulling her down into a fierce, messy kiss. Their lips crashed together, all teeth and heat, a battle of wills as much as passion. Kageyama groaned, her hands sliding down to grip Hinata’s hips, pulling her closer, feeling the fire of her anger and need. Hinata’s fingers tangled in Kageyama’s hair, tugging hard, a silent demand for more.

They stumbled back toward the bed, the wind howling outside as if echoing the storm between them. Hinata pushed Kageyama down, straddling her with a glare that could kill, her thighs clamping around her waist. 'You’re gonna regret this,' she panted, her voice dripping with promise, her eyes still wet with unshed tears.

Kageyama smirked, her hands roaming up Hinata’s sides, feeling the heat of her skin through her thin shirt. 'Make me,' she taunted, her voice thick with lust, ready for whatever punishment Hinata had in store.
