Tempting the Tutor: A Seductive Lesson in Desire

**Chapter 1: The Encounter**

The sun was setting over the bustling city, casting a golden glow over the streets as Ava strode confidently down the sidewalk. Her heels clicked with purpose, a sound that echoed her determination. She was on her way to a high-profile business meeting, but her mind was already racing ahead to the evening's possibilities.

As she approached the sleek, modern building that housed her meeting, a figure caught her eye. Leaning against the wall, looking effortlessly cool, was a man she'd never seen before. His dark hair was tousled, and his eyes, a piercing blue, seemed to see right through her. Ava felt a thrill of excitement; she loved a challenge.

"Lost, or just admiring the architecture?" Ava called out, her voice laced with amusement as she approached him.

The man straightened up, a slow smile spreading across his face. "Neither. I was waiting for someone interesting to walk by. Looks like my wait is over."

Ava raised an eyebrow, her lips curling into a smirk. "Is that so? And what makes you think I'm interesting?"

He stepped closer, his gaze never leaving hers. "The way you walk, like you own the world. And that look in your eyes—like you're always one step ahead."

Ava laughed, a sound that was both melodic and commanding. "You're not wrong. But flattery will only get you so far. What's your name?"

"Ethan," he replied, extending a hand. "And you are?"

"Ava," she said, shaking his hand firmly. "Ava Sinclair. And I have a meeting to get to, so unless you have something more compelling to offer than charming words, I'll be on my way."

Ethan's smile widened. "How about a bet? If I can make you laugh before you reach the door, you owe me a drink later."

Ava considered this for a moment, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "And if you can't?"

"Then I'll owe you one," Ethan said confidently.

"Deal," Ava agreed, turning to walk towards the entrance. She didn't get far before Ethan spoke again.

"Did you hear about the mathematician who's afraid of negative numbers? He'll stop at nothing to avoid them."

Ava couldn't help it; a laugh escaped her lips. She turned back to face him, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "You're good, Ethan. I'll give you that. But don't think this means you've won me over."

"Wouldn't dream of it," Ethan said, his voice low and teasing. "But I'll be at the bar around the corner at eight. I expect to see you there."

Ava nodded, her smile turning into a grin. "We'll see. But don't be surprised if I make you work for that drink."

With that, she turned and walked into the building, her mind buzzing with anticipation. The meeting was important, but the thought of seeing Ethan again was even more thrilling. She was in control, and she loved every second of it.

As the elevator doors closed behind her, Ava couldn't help but feel that this was the start of something exciting. And she was ready for whatever came next.
