The Dead Moon Circus had descended upon Tokyo overnight, like a dark and mysterious cloud. The Senshi, in their adult forms, had received a tip about the strange occurrence and had decided to investigate. As they approached the circus, they were greeted by the Amazon Trio, who were dressed in childish yet flamboyant circus attire.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Zirconia, the leader of the Amazon Trio, taunted. "Stuffy adults like you should stay away from a place like this. Unless, of course, you're willing to let loose and have some fun."
The Senshi scoffed at the Trio's childish antics, but they couldn't deny the allure of the circus. They accepted the challenge and entered, only to be transformed into children by a spell cast by Queen Nehelenia.
"What the...!" Rei exclaimed, looking down at her small, childlike form. "How could this happen? Our powers...they're still here, but they feel different. More unpredictable."
The Amazoness Quartet, who were also children, approached the Senshi and introduced themselves as their new friends. They were overly playful and childish, often insulting the Senshi with playful jabs and teasing them about their new forms.
"You guys are so boring," VesVes, the leader of the Quartet, said with a roll of her eyes. "But don't worry, we'll show you how to have a good time."
The Senshi were initially wary of the Amazoness Quartet, but they eventually warmed up to them and started to enjoy the childlike freedom that their new forms brought. They explored the circus, playing on the amusement park rides and indulging in the endless supply of sweets.
As the Senshi spent more time in the circus, they began to forget about their lives outside of it. They started to consider staying in the circus forever, abandoning their responsibilities as Senshi.
Meanwhile, Queen Nehelenia observed the Senshi from afar, pleased with their progress. She saw Usagi as a potential replacement for the Amazoness Quartet and started to manipulate her, playing on her insecurities and desires.
"You're so much more special than the others, Usagi," Nehelenia said, doting on her. "You deserve to be happy, to be free from the burden of being a Senshi. Stay with me, and I'll give you everything you've ever wanted."
Usagi started to spend more time with Nehelenia, who doted on her and showers her with attention. Usagi was flattered by the attention, but she started to feel guilty about neglecting her duties as a Senshi.
"Usagi, what's going on?" Ami asked, confronting her friend. "You've been spending all your time with Nehelenia and neglecting your duties as a Senshi. What's going on?"
"You're just jealous," Usagi accused, hurt by their confrontation. "You don't understand what it's like to be happy, to be free from responsibility."
The other Senshi were hurt by Usagi's accusations, but they refused to give up on her. They started to investigate the circus and the Amazoness Quartet, determined to uncover the truth.
"The Amazoness Quartet are not what they seem," Makoto discovered. "They're being manipulated by Nehelenia, just like Usagi."
The Senshi confronted the Quartet, but they were too late. The Quartet had already been corrupted by the promise of eternal childhood and they attacked the Senshi.
The Senshi were no match for the Quartet's newfound powers and they were defeated. They surrendered to the Dead Moon Circus, succumbing to the temptation of eternal childhood and the fantasy given to them by Queen Nehelenia.
Nehelenia was pleased with the Senshi's defeat and started to plan her next move. She turned her attention back to Usagi, who was still under her spell.
Usagi was torn between her loyalty to the Senshi and her desire to stay in the circus. She started to resist Nehelenia's manipulations, but she was not strong enough.
The chapter ended with Usagi on the brink of giving in to Nehelenia's temptations, leaving the fate of the Senshi and the world hanging in the balance.
