The Dead Moon's Eternal Playground: When the Senshi Were Forever Children

Chapter One: The Circus of Dreams

The streets of Tokyo were alive with excitement as Usagi and her friends walked towards the infamous Dead Moon Circus. The colorful posters and the sound of laughter drew them in, and they found themselves standing in front of the entrance, hesitant but eager to see what the circus had in store for them.

"Come on, Usagi! Let's go in!" Ami, the smart and sensible one, urged her on.

Usagi looked at her friends, all of them dressed in their school uniforms, and took a deep breath. "Alright, let's do it."

As they entered, they were greeted by the Amazon Trio, who were dressed in ridiculous costumes that made them look like they were straight out of a children's storybook. The Trio invited the girls to enter the circus, their eyes shining with mischief.

"You won't regret it, I promise!" one of them said, winking at Usagi.

The girls were hesitant, but the Amazon Trio insisted that they would have the time of their lives. Usagi looked at her friends, who were already excitedly chattering about the circus, and sighed. "Fine, let's go in."

Inside, the girls were amazed by the whimsical and childlike atmosphere of the circus. They were greeted by the Amazoness Quartet, who were dressed as Usagi's childhood friends.

"Welcome to the Dead Moon Circus!" one of them said, smiling brightly. "We're here to show you around!"

Usagi was hesitant, but her friends were excited and dragged her along. As they explored the circus, the girls began to feel a sense of nostalgia and happiness. They were transformed into their childhood selves, laughing and playing without a care in the world.

But the happiness was short-lived as they were led backstage and met Queen Nehelenia, who was dressed as a doting and overly motherly figure. She offered the girls endless treats and games if they chose to stay at the circus.

"Why don't you stay and play with us, dear?" she said, smiling sweetly. "You can forget about your responsibilities and just be a child again."

The girls were tempted by the offer, but Usagi was hesitant. She began to remember her responsibilities as a Sailor Senshi.

"Usagi, are you okay?" Rei, the tough and independent one, asked, noticing Usagi's distant look.

Usagi shook her head. "I can't stay here. I have to go back to my duties as a Sailor Senshi."

Queen Nehelenia tried to persuade Usagi to stay by exploiting her tensions with her birth family and her struggles as a magical girl.

"You don't have to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders, dear," she said, her voice dripping with honey. "Just stay here and be happy."

The other Senshi began to suspect that something was not right with the circus. They tried to contact Usagi, but were unable to reach her.

Meanwhile, the Amazoness Quartet tried to convince Usagi to stay and play with them. They insinuated that the other Senshi were just jealous and did not understand the true joy of eternal childhood.

Usagi was conflicted, but eventually decided to leave the circus and return to her duties as a Sailor Senshi. The Amazoness Quartet and Amazon Trio tried to stop her, but Usagi was able to use her powers to escape.

The other Senshi were relieved to see Usagi, but were worried about the influence of the circus.

"We have to be careful, Usagi," Makoto, the strong and protective one, said. "Queen Nehelenia is not to be underestimated."

Usagi nodded, her determination set. "I won't let her take us away from our duties. We'll stop her and save the people of Tokyo."

Queen Nehelenia vowed to find a way to make Usagi and the other Senshi return to the circus and embrace the fantasy of eternal childhood. But the Sailor Senshi were ready to face whatever challenges came their way.

The first chapter of their new adventure had come to a close, but the excitement and danger were just beginning.
