The Dead Moon Circus was unlike anything the Sailor Senshi had ever seen. "Ami, why are you always so serious?" one of the girls said, sticking her tongue out at her. "Can't you just have some fun for once?"
Ami frowned, but didn't respond. She knew that she had a responsibility to protect the people of Tokyo, and she couldn't let herself be distracted by the circus.
Usagi became increasingly tempted by the fantasy of eternal childhood and the promise of never having to face the pains of growing up. The Amazon Trio and Amazoness Quartet used their powers to make the Senshi forget about their past and their mission, and they became more and more entranced by the circus.
Rei and Makoto, who had remained the most resistant, began to suspect that something was wrong. They tried to snap their friends out of the trance, but the Amazon Trio and Amazoness Quartet used their powers to create illusions and distractions.
Usagi was on the brink of giving in to the temptation, but Rei and Makoto managed to reach her. They reminded her of her responsibilities as a Sailor Senshi and the importance of their mission.
