The school playground was a battleground, a place where the strong ruled and the weak cowered. And at the heart of it all was Alice, the ruthless and cunning leader of her group of girls. She surveyed the playground with a smirk, her eyes landing on a small, timid figure playing alone with his stuffed animals.
"Looks like we found ourselves a little mouse to play with today, girls," Alice said, turning to her friends with a playful insult. The girls giggled in response, their laughter echoing through the playground.
Timmy, the small boy in question, looked up as the girls approached. His eyes widened with fear as Alice snatched his favorite stuffed animal, a worn-out teddy bear.
"What's the matter, mouse?" Alice taunted, dangling the teddy bear just out of Timmy's reach. "Afraid you can't protect your precious toy?"
Timmy stuttered, trying to stand up to Alice, but his voice cracked under the pressure. The girls laughed harder, and Alice ripped apart the teddy bear, throwing the stuffing in Timmy's face.
Timmy winced, tears welling up in his eyes, but he didn't back down. Alice, impressed by Timmy's spirit, challenged him.
"If you're so brave, come and get it back," she said, tossing the teddy bear on the ground.
Timmy took a deep breath, gathering his courage, and charged at Alice. Alice easily dodged Timmy's clumsy attack, causing him to trip and fall. The girls laughed again, but Alice helped Timmy up, her tone softening.
"You've got guts, mouse," she said, brushing off Timmy's clothes. "But remember, this is our playground, and you're just a guest."
Timmy, embarrassed but determined, nodded. He knew this was just the beginning of their power play, but he vowed to stand up to Alice and her friends. He picked up the remains of his teddy bear, his resolve strengthening.
"I'll be back," he said, his voice steady.
Alice raised an eyebrow, intrigued.
"I look forward to it, mouse," she replied, a hint of a smile on her lips.
As the girls walked away, Timmy was left alone with his torn-apart teddy bear. But he knew that this was only the beginning of their game, and he was ready to play.
