The city park was bustling with activity as Samantha sat on a nearby bench, soaking up the sunshine during her lunch break. She couldn't help but notice a group of women gathered around a young boy, taunting and teasing him. Their shrill laughter pierced the air, and Samantha's blood began to boil.
As she listened closer, she heard the women making fun of the boy for his innocence and lack of experience. They called him useless and unattractive, comparing him to older men. The boy started to cry, and Samantha couldn't stand it any longer. She stood up and strode over to the group, ready to put them in their place.
"Excuse me, ladies. Is there a problem here?" Samantha asked, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
The women turned to her, surprised. "Mind your own business, old maid," one of them sneered.
Samantha laughed. "I'm Samantha, and I'll mind my business when I see a group of 'mean girls' picking on a boy who can't defend himself."
The women were taken aback by Samantha's directness and started to disperse. But one of them, the ringleader, stayed behind to argue.
"We're just trying to help him, Samantha. Teach him a lesson," Veronica said, crossing her arms.
Samantha raised an eyebrow. "A lesson in kindness and compassion, perhaps? Because from where I'm standing, it looks like you're the one who needs a lesson."
Veronica scoffed. "You don't know what it's like to be with a real man, someone who can satisfy your needs."
Samantha just smiled. "I don't need a man to satisfy my needs, Veronica. I'm a strong, independent woman who can take care of herself."
Tim looked up at Samantha with admiration. "You're amazing," he whispered.
Samantha ruffled his hair. "You don't have to listen to what they say, Tim. You're a good person, and that's what matters."
As Samantha walked away, she couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. She may not be the most experienced woman, but she knew how to stand up for what's right. And as she headed back to work, she couldn't help but wonder what Veronica would think if she knew just how experienced Samantha really is.
