The Night Kaylee Taught Nick a Thing or Two About Innocence: A Comedy of Errors and Eroticism

Chapter One: An Unusual Babysitting Gig

The Johnson's cozy living room was filled with the warm glow of the lamps, casting long shadows on the walls. Nick, a lanky fourteen-year-old, flipped through the channels on the TV, trying to find something decent to watch. He had been roped into babysitting Kaylee, the seven-year-old daughter of his parents' friends, for the night. He had hoped for a quiet evening, but Kaylee had other plans.

"Boring," a small voice said from behind him.

Nick turned to see Kaylee, with pigtails and a pink nightgown, enter the room, clutching a teddy bear. She looked up at Nick with big, innocent eyes.

"What's boring?" Nick asked, trying to sound interested.

"Everything," Kaylee pouted, flopping down onto the couch next to him. "Babysitting is so boring."

Nick rolled his eyes, trying not to laugh. "Well, what do you want to do then, genius?"

Kaylee thought for a moment, then her face lit up. "I know! Let's have a fashion show!"

Nick raised an eyebrow. "A fashion show? Really?"

Kaylee nodded eagerly. "Yes! You can be the judge. And I'll need your help with the music."

Nick, amused, agreed. Kaylee disappeared into her room, then reappeared a few minutes later, wearing a different nightgown.

"And what is this outfit called?" Nick asked, trying to keep a straight face.

"The 'Princess of the Forest' gown!" Kaylee said, twirling around to show off the gown.

Nick chuckled. "I see. And what makes it a 'Princess of the Forest' gown?"

Kaylee pointed to the green color of the nightgown. "It's green, like the trees! And it has sparkles, like the stars!"

Nick couldn't help but laugh. "Okay, okay. That's a very... unique gown."

Kaylee beamed, then disappeared into her room again. She reappeared a few minutes later, wearing a third nightgown.

"And what is this outfit called?" Nick asked, raising an eyebrow.

"The 'Mermaid of the Sea' gown!" Kaylee said, grinning.

Nick raised an eyebrow. "A mermaid gown? In the middle of the forest?"

Kaylee nodded. "Yes! It's blue, like the sea! And it has shells, like a mermaid!"

Nick chuckled. "Okay, okay. That's a very... creative gown."

Kaylee beamed, then disappeared into her room again. She reappeared a few minutes later, wearing a fourth nightgown.

"And what is this outfit called?" Nick asked, trying not to laugh.

"The 'Queen of the Castle' gown!" Kaylee said, with a serious expression.

Nick raised an eyebrow. "A queen gown? In the middle of the forest?"

Kaylee nodded. "Yes! It's pink, like a castle! And it has a crown, like a queen!"

Nick chuckled. "Okay, okay. That's a very... royal gown."

Kaylee beamed, then disappeared into her room again. She reappeared a few minutes later, wearing a fifth nightgown.

"And what is this outfit called?" Nick asked, trying not to laugh.

"The 'Goddess of Love' gown!" Kaylee said, with a mischievous grin.

Nick raised an eyebrow. "A love gown? In the middle of the forest?"

Kaylee nodded. "Yes! It's red, like love! And it has hearts, like a goddess!"

Nick swallowed, hard. "Uh, Kaylee... I don't think that's a good idea."

Kaylee pouted. "Why not? It's just a game!"

Nick took a deep breath. "Kaylee, you're only seven. You shouldn't be wearing something like that."

Kaylee looked at Nick, then at the nightgown. She thought for a moment, then nodded. "Okay."

Nick sighed in relief, then chuckled. "You're a handful, Kaylee."

Kaylee grinned. "I know. That's why you like babysitting me."

Nick rolled his eyes, but
