The small, sterile examination room in the Tokyo clinic was filled with an unusual energy as Yumi, a precocious and mischievous 13-year-old, entered the room. She was wearing a pink sundress and had two fresh Pampers diapers tucked under her arm.
"You better not hurt me with that thing, doc," Yumi said, giving Dr. Sato a playful wink as she hopped onto the examination table. "I've got extra protection today."
Dr. Sato, a middle-aged man with a kind face, chuckled and shook his head. "You're something else, Yumi," he said. "But let's get this vaccination over with so you can get back to your day."
Yumi nodded and lay down on the table, pulling down her sundress to expose her bare bottom. Dr. Sato approached with the vaccine, but Yumi suddenly sat up and farted loudly, causing the diaper underneath her to rustle.
"Oh, I'm sorry doc!" Yumi said, trying to stifle her giggles. "I guess these diapers are a little noisy."
Dr. Sato tried to compose himself and continued to prepare the vaccine. Yumi, however, was not done yet. She stood up and pulled down her diaper, revealing the second one underneath. She sat back down on the table, this time with the clean diaper facing Dr. Sato.
"How about this one, doc?" Yumi said, grinning. "It's fresh and clean, just like you like it."
Dr. Sato rolled his eyes and injected Yumi with the vaccine. "You're lucky I like you, Yumi," he said. "Otherwise, I'd have to give you a time-out."
Yumi giggled and stood up, pulling up her diaper. She then walked over to Dr. Sato and stood on her tiptoes to give him a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks, doc!" she said.
As Yumi was about to leave, she stopped and turned around. "Hey, doc," she said, grinning. "You wouldn't happen to have any lollipops in this office, would you?"
Dr. Sato chuckled and pulled out a lollipop from his drawer. "Here you go, Yumi," he said. "But only because you're such a good patient."
Yumi took the lollipop and stuck it in her mouth. She then walked over to Dr. Sato and stood in front of him, her diaper rustling as she shifted her weight.
"Hey, doc," Yumi said, her voice muffled by the lollipop. "You know what they say about men who can give a good shot?"
Dr. Sato raised an eyebrow. "What's that, Yumi?"
Yumi grinned and leaned in close to Dr. Sato, her diaper pressing against his leg. "They say they're good with their hands... and other things," she said, winking.
Dr. Sato blushed and pushed Yumi away gently. "You're something else, Yumi," he said, shaking his head. "Now go on, get out of here before you get me in trouble."
Yumi giggled and skipped out of the examination room, leaving Dr. Sato to collect himself. He couldn't help but smile at the young girl's boldness and confidence. Yumi was certainly a unique patient, but Dr. Sato couldn't deny that he enjoyed their playful interactions.
As he finished up his work for the day, Dr. Sato couldn't help but look forward to their next appointment. He knew that with Yumi, there was never a dull moment.
