Alex groaned as he slowly blinked his eyes open, the harsh hospital fluorescents stinging his sensitive eyes. He was met with the antiseptic smell of the room, the beeping of monitors, and the all-too-familiar ache of his injuries. He groaned again, shifting slightly in the bed, only for a sharp pain to shoot through his side, reminding him to stay still.
The door to his room creaked open, and a tall, strong figure stepped in, her heels clicking against the linoleum floor. “Well, well, well, if it isn’t our resident superhero, awake and ready for action,” she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
Alex couldn’t help but chuckle, despite the pain. Samantha, his favorite nurse and the bane of his existence, was never one to mince words. “You’re one to talk, Samantha. I’ve seen sloths move faster than you.”
Samantha rolled her eyes, but there was a twinkle in them. “Oh, please. You’re just jealous that I’m the one in control here.” She walked over to his bed, her hips swaying with each step. “Now, you need to rest. You’re not going anywhere until you’re better.”
Alex tried to sit up, but Samantha’s hand on his chest stopped him. “I can’t just lay here all day. I have things to do.”
Samantha raised an eyebrow. “Like what? Save the world from another disaster? You can’t even save yourself right now.”
Alex scoffed. “I’ll have you know, I’ve had worse injuries than this. I’ll be back on my feet in no time.”
Samantha crossed her arms over her chest. “Oh, really? And who’s going to take care of you when you’re laid up in bed? Your trusty sidekick?”
Alex couldn’t help but laugh, despite the pain. He had always had a soft spot for Samantha’s sharp tongue. “You’re one to talk. I’ve seen your dance moves. They’re about as graceful as a hippo on roller skates.”
Samantha narrowed her eyes, but there was a hint of a smile on her lips. “You’re lucky I like you, hero. Now, be a good boy and take your pain medication.”
Alex shook his head. “No, I want to keep my wits about me. I need to be alert in case of any emergencies.”
Samantha sighed. “Fine, but if you change your mind, let me know. Now, tell me about your attackers. What did they look like?”
Alex hesitated, then gave her a brief summary of the events that led him here. He made sure to include a few playful insults about the attackers’ lack of manliness.
Samantha couldn’t help but laugh. “Oh, they sound like a bunch of weaklings. I could take them down with one hand tied behind my back.”
Alex grinned. “I don’t doubt it. You’re a force to be reckoned with, Samantha.”
Samantha blushed slightly at the compliment. “Well, I do try my best. Now, what are your plans once you’re recovered?”
Alex hesitated, then admitted that he didn’t know. His whole life had been turned upside down, and he wasn’t sure where to go from here.
Samantha gave him a stern look. “You can’t just give up. You’re a hero, and heroes don’t wallow in self-pity.”
Alex couldn’t help but smile. He had always admired Samantha’s strength and determination. “You’re right. I’ll get back on my feet and make a difference in the world.”
Samantha nodded, satisfied. “Good. I’ll be here to help you every step of the way.”
Alex felt a warmth spread through him. He had never had anyone in his corner like Samantha.
Samantha noticed the change in Alex’s expression and gave him a knowing smile. She leaned in closer, her voice dropping to a whisper. “You’re not alone, you know. I’ll be there for you, in every way you need.”
Alex’s heart raced as he realized the true depth of Samantha’s feelings for him. He couldn’t believe that this strong, controlling woman was offering herself to him.
He reached up, gently taking Samantha’s hand in his. “Samantha, I-”
Before he could finish, Samantha leaned in, pressing her lips against his. He could feel the heat of her body, the softness of her lips, and the passion in her kiss.
He responded eagerly, his hands tangling in her hair as he deepened the kiss. He could feel the tension between them, the electricity that had always been there, but had never been acted upon.
Samantha pulled away, her breath coming in ragged gasps. “I’ve wanted to do that for a long time, hero.”
Alex grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “Well, I’m glad you finally made a move. I’ve been waiting for you to take control.”
Samantha rolled her eyes, but there was a smile on her lips. “You’re such a tease, hero. But I’ll show you who’s in control.”
She reached down, gently stroking his growing length through the thin hospital gown. Alex couldn’t help but moan, his hips bucking involuntarily.
Samantha chuckled, her eyes sparkling with desire. “See? I told you I was in control.”
Alex grinned, his hands reaching down to cup Samantha’s ass. “Oh, I have no doubt about that. But I’m more than happy to let you take the lead.”
Samantha leaned in, her lips brushing against his ear. “Good. Because I have a lot of plans for you, hero. And I’m not going to let you rest until you’re fully recovered.”
Alex couldn’t help but laugh, despite the pain. He had always admired Samantha’s strength and determination. And now, he was going to experience it in a whole new way. He was ready for whatever Samantha had in store for him.
