Time-Stop Shenanigans in the Lecture Hall

### Chapter 1: The Encounter

The sun was setting over the bustling city, casting a golden glow over the streets as Ava strode confidently down the sidewalk. Her heels clicked with purpose, a sound that echoed her determination. She was on her way to a high-profile business meeting, but her mind was already racing ahead to the evening's possibilities.

As she approached the sleek, modern building that housed her meeting, she caught sight of a man leaning against the wall, his eyes fixed on her with an intensity that made her pulse quicken. He was tall, with dark hair and a sharp jawline, dressed in a suit that screamed power and control.

"Lost, or just admiring the view?" Ava called out, her voice laced with a teasing edge as she stopped in front of him.

The man's lips curled into a smirk as he pushed off the wall, closing the distance between them. "Definitely the view," he replied, his voice smooth and deep. "But I'm not lost. I'm exactly where I want to be."

Ava raised an eyebrow, her interest piqued. "And where might that be?"

"Right here, talking to you," he said, his gaze never leaving hers. "I'm Damien, by the way."

"Ava," she responded, extending her hand. His grip was firm, sending a jolt of electricity through her.

"So, Ava, what brings you to this part of town?" Damien asked, his eyes scanning her from head to toe.

"Business," she replied, her tone crisp. "But I have a feeling you might make it pleasure."

Damien chuckled, a low, rumbling sound that sent shivers down her spine. "Is that an invitation?"

Ava stepped closer, her body mere inches from his. "Maybe it is. But you'll have to prove you're worth my time."

His eyes darkened with desire, and he leaned in, his breath warm against her ear. "Challenge accepted."

The air between them crackled with tension, and Ava felt a thrill of anticipation. She was in control, and she knew it. "Good," she whispered, pulling back slightly. "But first, I have a meeting to attend. Meet me at the bar across the street at eight. Don't be late."

With that, she turned on her heel and walked into the building, leaving Damien watching her with a mix of admiration and hunger.

As she entered the elevator, Ava couldn't help but smile. The evening was shaping up to be far more interesting than she had anticipated. And she was ready to take the reins and see just how far Damien was willing to go to keep up with her.
