Chapter 1: Collision of Eras
The air shimmered with an electric hum as Darius stepped out of the time portal, his dark, muscular frame a stark contrast against the pastel hues of 1980s suburbia. He adjusted the collar of his leather jacket, a smirk playing on his lips as he scanned the quiet street. His mission was clear—find Linda, the stunning blonde bombshell who would one day be his best friend’s mother, and rewrite history in the most primal way possible.
Linda was in her early twenties, a firecracker of a woman with a sharp tongue and a body that could stop traffic. She was lounging by her parents’ pool in a neon pink bikini, her long legs glistening with suntan oil, when Darius sauntered into the backyard like he owned the place. Her blue eyes narrowed, sizing him up instantly.
'Who the hell are you, and why are you trespassing on my turf?' she snapped, sitting up, her tone dripping with challenge.
Darius chuckled, his voice smooth as velvet. 'Name’s Darius, sweetheart. I’m just a traveler passing through, but damn, I think I’ve stumbled into paradise. You’re a vision, Linda.'
She rolled her eyes, but a faint blush crept up her cheeks. 'Flattery won’t get you far, mister. I don’t know you from Adam, and I’m not some damsel waiting to be swept off her feet. So, what’s your deal?'
He stepped closer, his gaze locking with hers, intense and unapologetic. 'My deal? I’m here to shake things up. You look like a woman who doesn’t play by the rules. Am I wrong?'
Linda smirked, standing to meet him, her hips swaying with confidence. 'Oh, I break rules for breakfast, honey. But you’ve gotta earn my attention. What makes you think you’ve got what it takes?'
Darius grinned, his eyes roaming over her curves with a hunger that made her pulse quicken. 'I’ve got more than enough to keep you intrigued, trust me. How about we skip the small talk and test that theory?'
Her laugh was sharp, cutting through the tension like a blade. 'Bold, aren’t you? Fine, let’s see if you can keep up. But don’t think for a second I’m some easy conquest. I call the shots.'
She turned, beckoning him to follow her toward the pool house, her ass swaying with every step, a deliberate tease. Darius felt a surge of heat, his body already responding to her fire. Inside, the air was thick with anticipation as she spun to face him, her fingers trailing down his chest.
'You’ve got one chance to impress me, time traveler,' she purred, her voice low and dangerous. 'Don’t waste it.'
His hands gripped her waist, pulling her close, the scent of her coconut oil mixing with the raw, masculine edge of his cologne. 'Oh, I don’t plan to, Linda. I’m gonna make sure you remember this moment for the rest of your life.'
Their lips crashed together, a battle of wills as much as a kiss, her nails digging into his shoulders. She pushed him against the wall, her body pressing into his, feeling him grow hard against her. 'You’re gonna have to work for it,' she whispered, her breath hot against his ear, already wet with anticipation.
Darius growled, his hands sliding down to grip her ass, pulling her tighter. 'Challenge accepted, baby. Let’s see how long you can keep that control.'
Their clothes started to fall, the heat between them building to a fever pitch, sweat already beading on their skin as they moved toward something explosive, something that would change everything.
