Jake raised an eyebrow, "Studying, huh? Is that code for eating a lot of comfort food?"
Lily laughed, "Maybe. But you're part of the problem. I can't resist your charm."
Jake leaned in, his eyes locked on Lily's, "Well, I can't resist you, no matter your size."
The two shared a playful kiss before parting ways, leaving Jake to reflect on how much he loved Lily. She was strong, controlling, and direct, and he wouldn't have her any other way.
