The shared bedroom of Alex and Sam was a battleground, and the battle had just begun. Alex, the tomboy, was on a rampage, destroying Sam’s precious belongings, starting with his favorite action figure. With a maniacal laugh, she tore its head off and threw it across the room.

Sam tried to defend his belongings, but Alex taunted him, saying he was not man enough to stop her. “You’re too attached to your toys, Sam. You need to learn to let go,” she said, tearing his clothes to shreds.
Sam, feeling helpless, tried to reason with Alex, but she was not interested. She told him he was too attached to his toys and that he needed to learn to let go.
Alex then took Sam’s blanket and started to rip it apart. Sam, now in tears, begged her to stop, but she continued, calling him “sissy” and “a mama’s boy.”
Sam, feeling embarrassed and humiliated, ran out of the room, leaving Alex alone in the room, laughing and enjoying the power she had over her little brother.
But Sam was not defeated. He decided to take a stand against Alex. He came up with a plan to teach her a lesson she’ll never forget. Sam sneaked back into the room, and while Alex was not looking, he took her most precious belonging - her baseball glove.
Sam then proceeded to destroy the glove, piece by piece, making sure Alex saw what he was doing. Alex, seeing her glove being destroyed, couldn’t believe what she was seeing. She tried to stop Sam, but he was too fast.
Alex, feeling a sense of loss and betrayal, started to cry. Sam, feeling satisfied, told her that she deserved it for what she did to his belongings.
Alex, now understanding the pain she caused Sam, apologized to him and promised to never do it again. Sam, feeling a mix of emotions - satisfaction, anger, and sadness, accepted Alex’s apology and the two siblings made up.
The chapter ends with the siblings going to bed, but this time, there’s a new understanding between them - Alex has learned to respect Sam’s belongings, and Sam has learned to stand up for himself.
