Trigger of Desire

**Chapter 1: The Heat of the Deal**

Rina adjusted the sleek black blazer hugging her curves as she strode into the dimly lit warehouse, her heels clicking with purpose against the concrete floor. The air was thick with the scent of oil and danger, and she thrived in it. As the top negotiator for underground deals in Seoul, she wasn’t just a pretty face—she was a force, a storm wrapped in crimson lipstick and unyielding confidence. Tonight, she was meeting Mun-Baek, the enigmatic arms dealer whose reputation for ruthlessness was only matched by the whispers of his raw, magnetic charm.

He stood near a crate of untraceable weaponry, his broad shoulders filling out a tailored leather jacket. His dark eyes locked onto hers the moment she entered, a predator sizing up his equal. A smirk tugged at his lips, and Rina felt a spark ignite deep in her core. She wasn’t here to play games, but damn if he didn’t make her want to.

“Rina,” he drawled, his voice a low rumble that sent a shiver down her spine. “I was starting to think you’d chicken out. These deals aren’t for the faint of heart.”

She arched a brow, stepping closer, her gaze unflinching. “Mun-Baek, the only thing faint around here is your attempt at intimidation. I’ve closed deals with men twice as scary and half as pretty. Let’s talk numbers before I get bored.”

He chuckled, a sound that was both dark and delicious. “Oh, I like a woman who bites back. But tell me, sweetheart, do you always negotiate with such… heat in your eyes?” He stepped forward, closing the distance, his breath warm against her cheek as he leaned in. “Or is that just for me?”

Rina’s lips curled into a wicked smile, her heart racing but her voice steady as steel. “Keep dreaming, handsome. I’m here for the guns, not your ego. Though, I must admit, both seem… loaded.”

Mun-Baek’s eyes darkened, a flicker of raw hunger flashing through them. “Careful, Rina. Play with fire, and you might get burned. Or is that what you’re after?”

She tilted her head, her fingers brushing against the edge of the crate, inches from his hand. The tension between them crackled like a live wire. “Burn me, Mun-Baek? I’m the one who starts the flames. Question is, can you keep up?”

His hand shot out, gripping her wrist with a firm but teasing hold, pulling her just close enough that their bodies nearly touched. “Oh, I can do more than keep up,” he growled, his voice dripping with promise. “I can make you forget every deal, every name, every damn thing except the way I feel against you.”

Rina’s breath hitched, but she didn’t pull away. Instead, she leaned in, her lips hovering near his ear. “Big talk for a man who hasn’t even sealed the deal yet. Show me what you’ve got, or I walk.”

That was all it took. Mun-Baek’s grip tightened, and in a flash, he spun her around, pinning her against the crate with a thud that echoed through the empty warehouse. Her blazer rode up as his hard body pressed into hers, and she could feel every inch of him—every promise of what was to come. His lips crashed into hers, hungry and unrelenting, and Rina matched his fire, her nails digging into his shoulders as she kissed him back with equal ferocity.

Their banter had been the foreplay, and now the real game was beginning. She felt him, hard against her thigh, and a wicked grin spread across her face as she whispered, “Let’s see if you’re as good with your hands as you are with your mouth.”

The night was about to explode, and Rina was ready to take control of every scorching second.
