The sound of laughter and music greeted Charlie as he pulled up to Jackson and Jake’s house. He couldn’t help but smile as he made his way to the front door, eager to join in on the fun.
But before he could even knock, the door swung open and Jillian stood before him, a playful smirk on her face. “Well, look what the cat dragged in. You’re actually on time for once.”
Charlie rolled his eyes, used to Jillian’s teasing by now. “Very funny, Jill. Let me in already.”
Jillian stepped aside, allowing Charlie to enter. “Jackson went to go grab something, and Jake is busy elsewhere in the house. So it looks like you’re stuck with me for the time being.”
Charlie followed Jillian down the hallway, his eyes taking in the extensive book collection that lined the walls. “Looks like someone has a thing for reading.”
Jillian shot him a look over her shoulder, a jab at Charlie’s taste in literature on the tip of her tongue. “Yes, well, at least I don’t spend all my time watching sports.”
Charlie chuckled, used to Jillian’s playful insults. “Hey, I’ll have you know I’m a very cultured individual.”
Jillian led Charlie into her room, stopping in front of a photo of the triplets and herself when they were younger. “Look at this, Charlie. Remember when we used to play together all the time?”
Charlie smiled, taking in the photo. “Yeah, those were the days. Before you all became too cool for me.”
Jillian playfully elbowed him, a challenge in her eyes. “Speaking of playing, how about a game of pool? The table is set up in the basement.”
Charlie’s competitive nature immediately kicked in. “You’re on.”
As they made their way down to the basement, Jillian couldn’t resist poking fun at Charlie’s competitive streak. “Don’t get too cocky, Charlie. I might just beat you.”
Charlie scoffed, setting up the pool balls. “In your dreams, Jill.”
They spent the next hour playing, Jillian’s playful insults continuing to fly. But as they made their way back up to Jillian’s room, Charlie couldn’t help but notice the way she was looking at him.
Jillian caught him glancing at her bed and couldn’t resist making a playful comment. “Like what you see, Charlie?”
Charlie’s heart raced as he took a step towards her. “Maybe I do.”
Jillian’s eyes sparkled with amusement as she took a step back, allowing Charlie to approach her. “Well, then, I guess it’s time for you to undress me.”
Charlie’s hands shook as he began to undo the buttons on Jillian’s shirt, her playful insults continuing to flow. “Easy there, tiger. You don’t want to break a nail.”
They fell onto the bed, their bodies entwined as they kissed. Jillian took charge, leading Charlie in a dance that left him breathless.
As they reached the climax, Jillian made one final playful insult before they collapsed in exhaustion. “Well, Charlie, I must say, you’ve certainly improved since the last time we did this.”
Charlie couldn’t help but laugh at Jillian’s playful nature, and they both fell asleep in each other’s arms.
