Tropical Temptations

Tropical Temptations

**Chapter 1: Sunlit Seduction**

The sun blazed over the pristine beaches of Phú Quốc, casting a golden sheen on Thuỳ Anh’s bronzed skin as she adjusted the straps of her electric blue bikini. The fabric clung to her curves like a second skin, daring and bold, just like her. She stood with one hand on her hip, the other shielding her eyes from the sun, as her husband, An, fiddled with his camera, trying to capture the perfect shot. The ocean roared behind her, a wild symphony to match the untamed energy she exuded.

“Damn it, An, are you taking a photo or writing a novel? Hurry up before I melt out here!” Thuỳ Anh teased, her voice sharp and playful, cutting through the humid air. Her dark hair cascaded over her shoulder, a stark contrast to the vibrant blue of her swimsuit.

An grinned, his boyish charm almost disarming. “Babe, if I don’t get this right, my family will never let me live it down. You’re a goddess—give me a second to immortalize you.”

She rolled her eyes but struck a pose, her toned legs slightly apart, her gaze fierce and commanding. “Fine, but if I catch you drooling instead of clicking, I’m throwing that camera into the sea.”

Unbeknownst to Thuỳ Anh, another pair of eyes lingered on her from the shaded deck of the family villa. Nam, An’s uncle, sat with a beer in hand, his weathered face betraying none of the storm brewing in his mind. At fifty, he was a man of quiet intensity, his salt-and-pepper hair and rugged build still turning heads. But right now, his thoughts were anything but innocent. The way Thuỳ Anh’s bikini hugged her ass, the way her laughter danced on the breeze—it was a siren’s call, and he was drowning in it.

“Careful, Nam,” came a voice beside him. It was Linh, his sister and An’s mother, her tone laced with suspicion as she sipped her coconut water. “You’re staring so hard I’m worried you’ll burn a hole through her.”

Nam chuckled, low and gravelly, taking a swig of his beer to mask the heat creeping up his neck. “Just appreciating the view, sis. Nothing wrong with that, is there?”

Linh raised an eyebrow, her lips curling into a knowing smirk. “Keep your ‘appreciation’ in check. That’s my daughter-in-law you’re gawking at, not some beach bunny.”

“Relax, Linh. I’m not blind, just… observant,” Nam shot back, his voice dripping with mischief. But his eyes never left Thuỳ Anh, tracing the curve of her hips as she laughed at something An said.

Back on the beach, Thuỳ Anh felt a prickle on her skin, a sense of being watched. She turned her head slightly, catching Nam’s gaze from the deck. For a split second, their eyes locked—a charged, unspoken moment that sent a shiver down her spine despite the tropical heat. She wasn’t naive; she knew that look. And damn if it didn’t stir something in her, something dangerous and thrilling.

“Got it!” An exclaimed, breaking the tension as he lowered the camera. “You’re gonna love this one, babe.”

Thuỳ Anh smirked, sauntering over to him, her hips swaying with every step. “Better be worth it, because I’m sweating my ass off out here.” She leaned in close, her breath hot against his ear as she whispered, “How about we sneak off later? I’m feeling… restless.”

An’s eyes darkened with desire, his voice dropping to a husky murmur. “Oh, I’ll make sure you’re taken care of. Just wait ‘til I get you alone.”

Her laugh was low, seductive, as she pulled back, her fingers brushing against his chest. “Promises, promises. Don’t keep me waiting too long—I’m already wet, and it’s not just from the ocean.”

As the couple headed back toward the villa, Thuỳ Anh’s mind flickered to Nam’s piercing stare. She didn’t know what game was brewing, but she was no damsel. If there was heat to be had on this holiday, she’d be the one fanning the flames. And as the sun dipped lower, the promise of something forbidden hung heavy in the air, ready to ignite.
