Akane sat at the small desk in her bedroom, her textbooks spread out in front of her. She sighed as she tried to focus on her studies, but the muffled sounds of laughter and moans coming from her mother's room made it impossible. She rolled her eyes and slammed her book shut. This was the third time her mother had brought a new boyfriend home since Akane's pregnancy.
The door to her mother's room creaked open and her mother stumbled out, visibly drunk and holding onto the arm of a tall, muscular man. "Akane, my dear!" her mother slurred. "Come meet my new man, he's just lovely."
Akane groaned and stood up to face the man. He looked at her with a sneer and said, "I can't believe you're pregnant at such a young age. What a waste."
Akane rolled her eyes and shot back, "At least I'm not a washed-up has-been who has to rely on my daughter's mother to get a date."
The man's face turned red and he opened his mouth to retort, but her mother cut him off. "Enough bickering, you two. We have an announcement to make." She hiccuped and grabbed Akane's hand. "Akane, darling, you're going to marry Nekomaru, the father of your child."
Akane's eyes widened in shock. "What? I can't just marry him because of this!"
Nekomaru spoke up, "It's the right thing to do, Akane. We can raise the child together."
Akane regained her composure and smirked at Nekomaru. "Fine, I'll marry you. But only if you can prove you're worthy in a gymnastics competition."
Nekomaru raised an eyebrow and smiled. "You're on."
The couple left, leaving Akane to ponder the sudden turn of events. She sighed and gathered her things, deciding to escape to the library.
---
Akane was fast asleep in a corner of the library when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She woke up with a start and saw Nekomaru standing over her.
"Akane, we need to talk," he said.
Akane groaned and sat up. "Can't it wait? I was having a nice dream."
Nekomaru chuckled and sat down next to her. "No, it can't wait. We need to make plans for the wedding and the baby."
Akane yawned and stretched. "Fine, but let's make it quick. I have a gymnastics competition to win."
Nekomaru raised an eyebrow. "Excuse me?"
Akane grinned. "I told you, I'll only marry you if you can prove you're worthy in a gymnastics competition. And I'm determined to win."
Nekomaru laughed. "You're on, Akane. But I have to warn you, I'm pretty good at gymnastics."
Akane stood up and stretched. "I'm not worried. I've been practicing."
---
Akane was seen practicing her gymnastics in her backyard, her siblings watching and making fun of her. "Look at the pregnant gymnast!" they called out.
Akane ignored them and continued to practice, determined to win the competition and prove her worth. She knew it wouldn't be easy, but she was ready for the challenge.
The day of the competition arrived and Akane was nervous, but ready. She faced Nekomaru, who was smiling and confident.
"Are you ready, Akane?" he asked.
Akane nodded and took a deep breath. "I'm ready."
The competition began and Akane and Nekomaru went head to head, their bodies moving in perfect sync. It was a close call, but in the end, Akane emerged victorious.
Nekomaru smiled and congratulated her. "You're amazing, Akane. I can't wait to marry you."
Akane smiled back and said, "I can't wait either, Nekomaru."
And with that, the two of them began their journey as a married couple, ready to face any challenges that came their way.
