Kai sat comfortably in the plush chair in the dimly lit basement, a book open in his lap as he kept a watchful eye on Ethan, his 8-year-old blonde autistic neighbor boy, who was engrossed in playing with his toys on the floor. Kai had always found a sense of peace in Ethan's presence, the young boy's innocence and genuine curiosity a refreshing change from the drama of high school.
"Hey, Ethan," Kai called out, closing his book. "Do you want to read a book with me?"
Ethan looked up, his bright blue eyes sparkling with excitement. He quickly abandoned his toys and scampered over to Kai, climbing into his lap without an invitation. Kai chuckled and opened the book, settling Ethan comfortably against his chest.
As they read, Ethan's small fingers began to fumble with the buttons of Kai's shirt. Kai was taken aback, unsure of how to react. He glanced down at Ethan, who looked up at him with a mischievous grin.
"I like you," Ethan said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Kai's heart skipped a beat. He was taken aback by Ethan's forwardness, but he couldn't deny the feeling of the boy's hand on his chest.
"What are you doing?" Kai asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
"I want to make you feel good," Ethan replied, his hand now moving down Kai's abdomen.
Kai's mind raced. He knew he should stop Ethan, but he couldn't deny the feeling of the boy's hand on his body. He gently lifted Ethan off his lap and stood up, locking the basement door with a sense of urgency.
When he turned around, Ethan was already standing, his pants around his ankles. Kai's face burned with a mix of embarrassment and desire. He sat back down in the chair and pulled Ethan into his lap.
"I like you too, buddy," Kai said, his voice husky with desire.
Ethan smiled and continued to explore Kai's body, running his hand along Kai's waistline and inside the waistband of his pants. Kai's heart raced as Ethan's fingers brushed against his skin. He couldn't believe what was happening, but he couldn't bring himself to stop it either.

As Kai buttoned his shirt, Ethan looked up at him with a serious expression.
"I love you, Kai," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Kai's heart melted. He pulled Ethan into a tight hug, holding him close.
"I love you too, buddy," he said, his voice filled with emotion.
And with that, they returned to their toys and books, the unconventional night forever etched in their memories.
