Suddenly, a tiny voice pierced through the tension. "Mommy and daddy," the child said, pointing at the television. The immortals turned to see a young toddler with brown hair, no older than one year old, sitting amongst them. She giggled and clapped her hands as she watched her parents, the powerful Omni and Wildcard, fight off the villains on the screen.
"Look at them go!" Marie exclaimed, her tiny voice filled with pride. "They're the best superheroes in the whole world!"
The immortals were amused by the child's enthusiasm and couldn't help but be drawn in by her cuteness.
"She's quite the character," Zeus said, chuckling. "But who are her parents?"
The group began to speculate about Marie's origins, with some suggesting she was the illegitimate child of one of the gods, while others believed she was a mortal who had somehow found her way to Olympus.
Marie, hearing the discussion, pipes up again. "Mommy and daddy are Omni and Wildcard, the best superheroes ever!" she declared.
The immortals were taken aback by the child's confident declaration. "How could this be?" they wondered.
Just then, the television screen went static, and the battle between Omni, Wildcard, and the villains came to a sudden end. The immortals held their breath, waiting to see what would happen next.
Suddenly, the static cleared, and the image of Omni and Wildcard appeared on the screen, looking directly into the camera.
"Greetings, Olympus," Omni said, his voice booming. "We have a surprise for you all."
Wildcard stepped forward, a smile on her face. "Meet our daughter, Marie," she said, gesturing to the toddler. "The true heir to our powers."
The immortals were stunned into silence as they realized the truth. Marie, the seemingly ordinary toddler, was the daughter of the most powerful superheroes in the world. And she was destined for greatness.
"Welcome to Olympus, Marie," Athena said, breaking the silence. "May your journey be filled with love, power, and wisdom."
Marie looked around the room, her eyes wide with wonder. She stood up, wobbling slightly, and raised her tiny fist in the air.
"I'm ready," she said, her voice strong and determined. "Let the adventure begin!"
The halls of Olympus erupted in laughter and applause, and the immortals knew they had a new member of their family. And they couldn't wait to see what the future held for the unknown infant of Olympus.
