Veronica stepped off the elevator and into the hallway of her high-rise apartment, her heels clicking against the marble floor. She had had a long day of meetings, and all she wanted to do was slip into something more comfortable and enjoy a glass of wine. But as she approached her door, she noticed it was already slightly ajar. She frowned, wondering if she had forgotten to close it properly this morning.
But as she pushed the door open, she was met with the sight of Matvey, her longtime friend and occasional lover, lounging on her couch with a glass of whiskey in hand. He was dressed in a simple white t-shirt and jeans, and he looked completely at ease in her apartment.
“Well if it isn’t the lazy bum I call a friend,” Veronica said, a playful insult on her lips.
Matvey grinned and took a sip of his whiskey. “And if it isn’t the workaholic I call a lover.”
Veronica rolled her eyes, but she couldn’t help the smile that tugged at the corners of her lips. Matvey always knew how to make her feel better, even when she was exhausted from a long day of work.
She set her briefcase down on the entryway table and kicked off her heels. “You always know how to make me feel better,” she said, walking over to the couch.
Matvey stood and met her halfway, handing her his glass of whiskey. “I know what else can make you feel better.”
Veronica raised an eyebrow. “Oh really? And what might that be?”
Matvey took her hand and led her to the bedroom, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “I’ll show you.”
In the bedroom, Matvey began to undress Veronica, his hands lingering on her curves as he unbuttoned her shirt and slipped off her pants. Veronica responded by unbuttoning Matvey’s shirt, her fingers tracing his chest as she revealed his toned abs.
They continued to undress each other, their movements becoming more urgent as the tension between them grew. Veronica pushed Matvey onto the bed, her hair falling down around them like a curtain.
“I’ll show you who’s the boss,” she said, a playful challenge in her voice.
Matvey grinned, his eyes dark with desire. “I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Veronica straddled Matvey, her body moving in rhythm with his as they made love. The city lights twinkled through the window, casting a soft glow over the room. And as they lost themselves in each other, Veronica knew that this was exactly what she needed to relax after a long day of work.
