Vince's Velvet Transformation

### Chapter One: Mansion Mischief

The summer sun blazed down on the winding driveway leading to the most ostentatious mansion Vince had ever seen. At twelve years old, he’d barely ventured beyond the cracked sidewalks of his modest neighborhood, so the sight of Lynda and Tiffany’s 50,000-square-foot palace—with its towering white columns and sprawling wings—hit him like a punch to the gut. His scuffed sneakers squeaked against the polished marble of the grand foyer as he stepped inside, his mouth hanging open like a fish out of water.

“Well, well, what do we have here?” a sultry voice purred from the top of the sweeping staircase. Lynda descended with the grace of a panther, her raven hair cascading over her shoulders in glossy waves. Her emerald-green dress hugged every curve, and her piercing blue eyes locked onto Vince with an intensity that made his knees wobble. “You must be our little garden helper. Vince, was it?”

“Uh, y-yeah,” Vince stammered, clutching the straps of his ratty backpack. “I’m here for the summer job. Mowing lawns or... whatever.”

“Whatever, indeed,” came another voice, this one smooth as honey, from behind him. Vince spun around to see Tiffany sauntering in from a side hallway, her chestnut locks shimmering in the light streaming through the massive windows. Her crimson blouse and tailored slacks screamed power, and the smirk on her full lips made Vince’s cheeks burn. “You’re a scrawny little thing, aren’t you? Are you sure you can handle a rake, let alone us?”

Vince blinked, unsure if he’d heard her right. “I-I’m stronger than I look,” he mumbled, puffing out his chest in a way that only made him look more like a twig.

Lynda chuckled, a low, throaty sound that sent a shiver down Vince’s spine. She reached the bottom of the stairs and circled him like a predator sizing up prey. “Oh, we’ll see about that, kiddo. But first, let’s get one thing straight: we don’t do ‘whatever’ around here. We do perfection. Think you can keep up?”

“I’ll try,” Vince said, his voice barely above a whisper. He couldn’t tear his eyes away from her—those sharp cheekbones, that knowing smile. He felt like a mouse caught in a trap, and he wasn’t sure if he wanted to escape.

Tiffany stepped closer, her heels clicking on the marble floor with deliberate menace. She tilted his chin up with one manicured finger, forcing him to meet her hazel gaze. “Trying isn’t good enough, sweetheart. We expect results. But don’t worry—we’ll mold you into shape. Won’t we, Lynda?”

“Absolutely,” Lynda purred, her hand brushing against Vince’s shoulder as she moved past him. Her touch was electric, and Vince nearly jumped out of his skin. “Come on, little man. Let’s show you the gardens. You’ll be spending a lot of time out there... and with us.”

They led him through a set of glass doors at the back of the foyer, and Vince’s jaw dropped again as he took in the lush backyard gardens. Roses bloomed in vibrant reds and pinks, hedges were trimmed into intricate shapes, and a massive fountain bubbled at the center of it all. It was like stepping into a fairy tale—one where the queens were as intimidating as they were beautiful.

“Pretty, isn’t it?” Tiffany said, her tone teasing as she caught Vince staring. “Not as pretty as us, though. Right, Vince?”

Vince’s face turned tomato-red. “I, uh, I mean, it’s really nice. The garden, I mean. Not that you’re not—I mean, you’re both—” He clamped his mouth shut, wishing the ground would swallow him whole.

Lynda laughed, tossing her hair over her shoulder. “Oh, relax, kid. We’re just messing with you. But you’ve got to learn to keep up with the banter if you’re going to hang around here. We don’t play nice for long.”

“Exactly,” Tiffany added, plucking a rose from a nearby bush and twirling it between her fingers. She leaned in close, the sweet scent of her perfume enveloping Vince as she tucked the flower behind his ear. “You’ve got potential, though. A little rough around the edges, but we like a project. Don’t we, Lynda?”

“Oh, we *love* a project,” Lynda agreed, her eyes glinting with something Vince couldn’t quite place. “We’ve been looking for someone to... nurture. Someone who could be our little princess, in a way.”

Vince blinked, the word “princess” bouncing around in his head without sticking. “Uh, princess? Like... a nickname or something?”

Tiffany smirked, exchanging a loaded glance with Lynda. “Something like that. You’ll figure it out eventually. For now, let’s just say we’ve got big plans for you, Vince. Bigger than trimming hedges.”

“Yeah, way bigger,” Lynda chimed in, her voice dripping with amusement. “But don’t worry your pretty little head about it. Just focus on not chopping off a finger with the shears, okay?”

Vince nodded dumbly, still reeling from the whirlwind of their presence. He couldn’t tell if they were mocking him, flirting with him, or both—and honestly, he didn’t care. The promise of easy cash for odd jobs, combined with the chance to be around two women who looked like they’d stepped out of a magazine, was more than enough to keep him hooked.

“So, what do you say, Vince?” Tiffany asked, crossing her arms and tilting her head in a way that made her hair catch the sunlight. “Think you can handle spending the summer with us? We’ve got plenty of work... and plenty of fun, if you play your cards right.”

“Fun?” Vince echoed, his voice cracking. He cleared his throat, trying to sound tougher than he felt. “Yeah, sure. I’m in. I mean, it’s just gardening, right?”

Lynda’s smile widened, sharp and predatory. “Oh, it’s so much more than that. But you’ll see soon enough. Welcome to the mansion, Vince. You’re going to fit in just fine.”

As they led him deeper into the gardens, pointing out tasks and tossing playful jabs his way, Vince felt a strange mix of excitement and unease. He was in over his head, no question about it. But with Lynda and Tiffany’s laughter echoing around him and the scent of roses filling the air, he couldn’t bring himself to care. Whatever trap they were laying, he’d already taken the bait—and he was more than happy to see where it led.
