The sun was setting over the bustling city, casting a golden glow over the streets as Ava strode purposefully towards her favorite bar. She was a woman who knew what she wanted, and tonight, she was looking for a little excitement. Her heels clicked confidently on the pavement, her red dress hugging her curves in all the right places.
As she pushed open the door to the dimly lit bar, her eyes scanned the room, taking in the usual suspects and the new faces. That's when she saw him, sitting alone at the end of the bar, nursing a drink. He was handsome, with a rugged charm that made her pulse quicken. She sauntered over, sliding onto the stool next to him.
"Buy a girl a drink?" Ava asked, her voice smooth and confident.
The man turned to her, his eyes meeting hers with a spark of interest. "Only if you promise to make it worth my while," he replied, a playful smirk on his lips.
Ava laughed, a sound that was both melodic and seductive. "Oh, I can promise you that," she said, leaning in closer. "I'm Ava, by the way."
"James," he responded, his gaze never leaving hers. "So, Ava, what brings you to this little corner of the world tonight?"
"Just looking for a bit of fun," she said, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "And you?"
"Same," James said, his voice low and husky. "Though I have a feeling I might have just found it."
Ava felt a thrill run through her at his words. She liked this man, his confidence and his directness. "Is that so?" she teased, her hand brushing against his arm. "And what makes you think I'm the kind of fun you're looking for?"
James chuckled, his eyes darkening with desire. "Oh, I can tell just by looking at you," he said, his voice dropping to a whisper. "You're the kind of woman who knows exactly what she wants and isn't afraid to take it."
Ava's breath caught in her throat at his words. He was right, of course. She was a woman who took control, who knew exactly what she wanted and how to get it. And right now, she wanted him.
"Well, James," she said, her voice sultry and commanding. "Why don't you buy me that drink, and we can see just how much fun we can have together?"
James didn't need to be told twice. He signaled the bartender, ordering them both a drink. As they waited, Ava leaned in closer, her lips brushing against his ear. "And just so you know," she whispered, her voice sending shivers down his spine. "I always get what I want."
James turned to her, his eyes burning with desire. "I wouldn't have it any other way," he said, his voice rough with need.
As their drinks arrived, Ava took a sip, her eyes never leaving his. She could feel the tension between them, the electricity that crackled in the air. Tonight was going to be fun, she thought, a wicked smile playing on her lips. And she was going to make sure she got exactly what she wanted.
