The wind howled outside, causing the curtains to billow dramatically as Raya paced the room. She muttered to herself, her footsteps echoing off the wooden floorboards. "Stupid, arrogant, infuriating man," she seethed.
Raya's heart skipped a beat as she heard the door creak open, the hinges protesting against the force. She stopped in her tracks, her eyes narrowing as she prepared for a confrontation.
Raider stepped into the room, his eyes locked on Raya. A smug smile played on his lips as he took in her appearance, his gaze lingering on her curves. "Well, well, well, if it isn't the woman who thinks she can outrun me," he drawled, his voice dripping with arrogance.
Raya rolled her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest. "Save it, Raider. I'm not in the mood for your games today."
Raider chuckled, taking a step closer to Raya. "Oh, but I think you are. You can run all you want, but you can't hide from me forever."
Raya's eyes narrowed, her anger rising. "Watch me," she spat, turning on her heel and walking towards the window.
Before she could reach it, Raider was on her, his arms encircling her waist. "Nice try, love," he murmured in her ear, his breath hot against her skin.
She struggled against his grip, but he was too strong. Raya felt his body pressed against hers, his chest hard against her back. She could feel the heat radiating off of him, causing her heart to race.
She turned her head, her eyes meeting his. "Let. Go. Of. Me," she said slowly, emphasizing each word.
Raider's smile widened. "No can do, love. I've been thinking about this moment for far too long."
Before Raya could react, Raider's lips were on hers, his kiss forceful and demanding. She tried to push him away, but he only held her tighter, his tongue exploring her mouth.
Raya's mind was racing, her body betraying her as she felt a spark of desire. She brought her hands up, her fingers digging into Raider's chest.
He groaned, his grip on her loosening slightly. Raya took this opportunity to push him away, her eyes blazing. "You may have won this round, Raider, but this isn't over. I won't let you control me," she said, her voice shaking with anger and determination.
Raider's smile faltered, but he quickly recovered. "We'll see about that, love," he said, before turning and walking out of the room, leaving Raya to process what just happened.
She touched her lips, her mind reeling. Raya was strong-willed and independent, but there was something about Raider that made her heart race. She shook her head, pushing the thoughts away. She wouldn't let him control her, no matter how much her body betrayed her.
Raya walked over to the window, looking out into the stormy night. She would outrun Raider, no matter how hard he tried to catch her. She was in control, not him.
With a determined nod, Raya turned away from the window, her mind made up. She would show Raider that she wasn't just another notch on his belt, she was a force to be reckoned with.
As she walked back to the center of the room, Raya couldn't help but feel a flicker of anticipation. She may not want Raider's advances, but she couldn't deny the chemistry between them.
She shook her head, pushing the thoughts away. Now was not the time to think about that. Raya had a mission, and she wouldn't let anything distract her.
With a deep breath, Raya continued pacing the room, her mind focused on her goal. She wouldn't let Raider win, no matter how hard he tried. She was in control, and she wouldn't let him forget it.
