When Aphrodite's Daughter Gets a Statuette-Carving Demigod's Baby Bump: A Camp Half-Blood Confession

Chapter One: The Big Reveal

The sun was setting over Camp Half-Blood, casting a warm glow over the Aphrodite cabin. Selina, a 17-year-old daughter of the goddess of love, was sitting on the porch, lost in thought. She played with a miniature statue of herself, a gift from her boyfriend Charles, the son of Hephaestus. The statue was exquisitely crafted, with Selina's long blonde hair cascading down her back and her blue eyes sparkling with mischief.

Selina's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of footsteps. She looked up to see Charles walking towards her, a serious look on his face. She couldn't help but tease him, calling out, "Hey Charcoal, what's got your panties in a twist?"

Charles rolled his eyes at her nickname for him, a playful jab at his blacksmith heritage. He pulled Selina aside, away from the prying eyes of the other campers. He looked nervous, and Selina's heart started racing with anticipation.

Charles took a deep breath and blurted out, "Selina, you're pregnant."

Selina looked down at her flat stomach, then burst into laughter. "Oh, Charcoal, you almost had me there for a second. You'll have to try harder than that to get me into bed."

But Charles didn't laugh. He looked at her with a serious expression, and Selina's laughter died in her throat. She realized that he was telling the truth.

She took a deep breath, trying to process the news. She was pregnant, at 17, with a demigod child. It was unexpected, to say the least. But as she looked into Charles's hopeful eyes, she knew that she wanted to keep the baby.

"Okay," she said, taking his hand. "We're going to do this. We're going to be parents."

Charles was overjoyed, pulling Selina into a tight embrace. They made a pact to keep the news a secret until they were ready to share it with the world.

Three months passed, and Selina's baby bump started to show, albeit subtly. She wore loose clothing to hide it, but a son of Demeter noticed and spread the news. The Aphrodite cabin was abuzz with gossip, and Selina, now visibly pregnant, walked into the cabin. All eyes turned to her.

She faced her cabin mates, her blue eyes flashing with defiance. "I'm pregnant," she announced, "and I'm proud of it."

The girls in the cabin cheered for Selina, while the boys gave Charles awkward pats on the back. Selina thanked them, then pulled Charles aside.

"I have a surprise for you," she whispered in his ear, making him blush. She winked at him, and they both left the cabin, ready to face the challenges of parenthood together.

As they walked away, Selina turned back to the cabin and shouted, "And for the record, Charcoal's the only one who's been near this furnace!"

The cabin erupted in laughter, and Selina smiled, knowing that she was in control of her own narrative. She was a daughter of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, and she was going to be a mother. She was strong, controlling, and direct, and she was ready to take on the world.
