The Aphrodite cabin was always filled with laughter and gossip, but today, the atmosphere was different. Selina, a 17-year-old daughter of Aphrodite, sat in the cabin, playing with her long black hair, and staring at a statue of herself, made by her boyfriend Charles. She was lost in her thoughts, her blue eyes filled with determination.
Charles, a 17-year-old son of Hephaestus, entered the cabin and noticed Selina's distant look. He approached her, his brow furrowed with concern. "Hey, what's wrong?" he asked, his voice soft.
Selina looked up at Charles, her expression serious. "I need to tell you something," she said, taking a deep breath.
Charles's heart skipped a beat. He had never seen Selina look so determined before. "What is it?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
Selina looked him in the eyes and said, "I'm pregnant."
Charles was shocked. He stood there, his mouth open, as he tried to process the news. Selina explained that she had a dream from the gods and took a test to confirm it. Charles was overwhelmed but happy. He hugged Selina, whispering, "It's going to be okay."
Selina reminded him that they needed to keep it a secret for now. A few weeks later, Selina's baby bump started to show, but she hid it with loose clothing. However, one day, a son of Demeter noticed it and spread the news.
The rest of the Aphrodite cabin found out about Selina's pregnancy, and they gathered around her, asking questions and giving advice. Selina, feeling overwhelmed, told them to back off and that she could handle it. "I'm the daughter of Aphrodite, the goddess of love," she said, her voice sharp. "I know what I'm doing."
The girls in the cabin laughed and teased Selina, calling her "Mom" and "Selina the Pregnant." Selina rolled her eyes and playfully insulted them back. She turned to Charles and said, "I'm glad I have you by my side." Charles smiled and said, "Always, Selina."
The rest of the day, Selina and Charles spent time together, talking about their future and the baby. Selina felt happy and content, knowing that she had Charles's support. As the sun set, Selina and Charles walked back to their cabin, holding hands. Selina looked up at the stars and thought about the journey ahead.
