When Aphrodite's Daughter Got Knocked Up: A Pregnancy Story Packed with Sass, Love, and Hephaestus' Miniature Statues

Chapter One: The Big Reveal

The Aphrodite cabin was buzzing with activity, a symphony of laughter and chatter filling the air. But amidst the cacophony, one person remained conspicuously quiet. Selina, a 17-year-old with raven hair and cerulean eyes, sat in the corner, lost in thought. Her cabin mates had noticed her distant behavior, but none had yet dared to approach her.

Enter Ada, a fiery redhead with a sharp tongue and an even sharper mind. She plopped down next to Selina, eyeing her with curiosity. "What's going on with you, Sel?" she asked, her voice laced with concern.

Selina looked up, feigning innocence. "Nothing, Ada. Just enjoying the peace and quiet."

Ada raised an eyebrow. "Since when do you enjoy peace and quiet? You're usually the life of the party."

Selina sighed, knowing she couldn't brush Ada off forever. "Fine. I have something to tell you all."

The cabin mates, who had been milling about, suddenly stopped and turned their attention to Selina. She took a deep breath and announced, "I'm pregnant."

The cabin erupted into a mix of shock, confusion, and excitement. Ada was the first to speak up, demanding, "Who's the father?"

Selina smiled, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Charles, the son of Hephaestus."

The cabin mates started asking questions, their voices overlapping in a cacophony of excitement. Selina described how she pulled Charles aside and told him, and how he was shocked but caring. She mentioned how he'd been making her miniature statues as a way to show his love and support. The cabin mates cooed over the sweet gesture.

Bri, Selina's best friend and a blonde bombshell, asked when she found out. Selina revealed that she was three months pregnant, but that her baby bump wasn't noticeable yet unless you were looking for it.

The cabin mates started speculating about the baby's future, wondering if it would inherit powers from both Aphrodite and Hephaestus. Selina laughed and told them to wait and see.

Ada asked if Selina was worried about being a young mother. Selina admitted that she was a little scared, but that she knew she'd have the support of her friends and family.

Bri asked if Selina had told Charles's mom, the blacksmith and camp director, yet. Selina shook her head and said she was planning on telling her soon.

The cabin mates offered their support and advice, telling Selina that they'd be there for her no matter what. Selina thanked them and told them how much she loved them.

As the cabin mates dispersed, Ada pulled Selina aside and asked if she was sure about this. Selina nodded and told her that she'd never been more sure of anything in her life.

Ada hugged Selina and told her to take care of herself and the baby. Selina smiled and promised that she would.

As Selina lay in her bed that night, she thought about the future and all the possibilities it held. She knew that it wouldn't be easy, but she was ready for whatever came her way.

"Bring it on, world," she whispered into the darkness. "I'm ready for you."
