When Athena, Goddess of War and Wisdom, Met Hercules: A Tale of Unexpected Labor and Even More Surprising Paternity Confessions

The birthing chamber of Athena, goddess of war and wisdom, was a flurry of activity as the goddess herself gripped the edge of the birthing bed, her face contorted in pain. Her loyal attendant, Galatea, coached her through the contractions, offering words of encouragement and guidance.

"Athena, my dear, you're doing so well," Galatea said, wiping the goddess's forehead with a cool cloth. "Just a few more pushes and your little ones will be here."

Athena grunted, her muscles tensing as another contraction hit. "Hercules," she gasped. "Do you think he'll have the decency to show up?"

Galatea chuckled. "Would you like me to send for him, my lady?"

Athena scoffed. "Hercules? The man couldn't even keep his hands off of me for one night, let alone be present for the birth of our children."

Despite her harsh words, Galatea knew that Athena secretly hoped Hercules would be there. She reminded the goddess of the importance of having the father present for the birth. After a moment of reluctance, Athena agreed, but only on the condition that Hercules stayed out of her way.

Hercules entered the birthing chamber, his muscles rippling as he moved. Athena couldn't help but roll her eyes at the sight of him. "Hercules, I hope you plan on being quiet and out of the way during this," she said sternly.

Hercules nodded, looking sheepish. "Of course, Athena. I'm here to support you in any way I can."

Athena snorted, but couldn't help but feel a small sense of gratitude towards him. As the labor progressed, her strength and determination shone through. She grunted and groaned, but never once complained. Hercules watched in awe, impressed by her resilience.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Athena's first child was born. It was a beautiful baby girl, with grey eyes and curly blonde hair. Athena looked at her in wonder, feeling a love she never knew was possible.

Hercules couldn't help but tear up at the sight of the beautiful baby. "She's perfect, Athena," he whispered. Athena glared at him, but couldn't help but feel a small sense of warmth towards him.

Not long after, Athena's second child was born. It was a handsome baby boy, with brown hair and grey eyes. Athena and Hercules both looked at him in awe, feeling a deep love for their new family.

As the twins were cleaned and swaddled, Athena and Hercules shared a moment of peace. Despite their past, they were now united in their love for their children.

Athena looked at Hercules, a small smile on her face. "Thank you, Hercules. For being here, and for being a part of this."

Hercules looked at her, his heart swelling with love. "Thank you, Athena. For giving me the chance to be a part of this. I will always be here for you and our children."

As the sun began to rise, Athena and Hercules sat in the quiet birthing chamber, holding their new twins. Despite their past, they were now a family, bound together by love and wisdom.

Athena looked at Hercules, a small smile on her face. "You know, Hercules. You may not be the brightest, but you're not half bad."

Hercules chuckled, looking at Athena with love. "And you, Athena. You may be wise beyond your years, but you still have a lot to learn about love."
