The palace of Brigitte, the goddess of candy and sweets, was a vibrant and colorful space, fit for a goddess with such a sweet tooth. As the four goddesses entered, each carrying their newborns, they were greeted with a burst of sweetness that filled the air.
"Brigitte, you absolute sugar fiend," Hera said, playfully insulting her dear friend. "Your palace is even sweeter than you are."
"And that's saying something," Amphimtrite added, joining in on the teasing.
Brigitte laughed, her voice as sweet as the candies that filled her palace. "Welcome, my dear goddesses. I'm so glad you could make it. And look at all these little bundles of joy. Let me give you a tour."
As they walked through the palace, Brigitte showed off her candy-making facilities, the room where she breastfed Solace, and the many sweet treats that filled the palace. Hera revealed that she too breastfed Jason, and the two goddesses exchanged knowing looks and smiles.
Amphimtrite and Persephone admitted that they bottle-fed Bianca, Nico, and Perseus, leading to a light-hearted debate about the benefits of breastfeeding versus bottle-feeding.
"Solace and Jason are such greedy little piglets," Brigitte said, as the babies eagerly sucked at their mothers' breasts.
"Yes, but Bianca, Nico, and Perseus are discerning connoisseurs," Amphimtrite countered. "They only take the best."
They discussed their babies' eating habits, with Brigitte and Hera boasting about their babies' long stretches of sleep and Amphimtrite and Persephone complaining about their babies' frequent wake-ups.
"Zeus has been pampering me since I gave birth," Hera said, with a satisfied smile. "Bringing me gifts and doing everything for me."
Brigitte, Amphimtrite, and Persephone complained about their husbands' lack of help and support.
"Apollo nearly passed out when he saw me give birth," Brigitte said, shaking her head.
They laughed and joked about their husbands' reactions, with Hera teasing Zeus for being "soft" and Brigitte, Amphimtrite, and Persephone playfully insulting their own husbands for being "useless".
They sat down to have a feast, with Brigitte serving them a variety of sweets and candies. As they ate and drank, they continued to share stories and laugh, building a strong bond of friendship.
"We should make this a regular event," Persephone said, as they finished their feast.
The goddesses agreed, promising to meet again soon. Brigitte watched as the other goddesses left, feeling grateful for their friendship and support. She turned her attention back to Solace, feeling a deep love and connection to her baby.
"You and I, my sweet Solace, we're going to rule this candy-coated world together," Brigitte whispered, as she held her baby close.
