Athena, the goddess of war and wisdom, lay submerged in the luxurious waters of her bath chamber, her long brown hair piled high on her head in an elaborate updo. Her belly was round and full, a testament to the life growing inside of her, and her breasts were heavy with milk. She had never felt so alive, so powerful, yet so vulnerable.
The door to her bath chamber creaked open, and Athena assumed it was one of her handmaidens coming to attend to her. But when she turned to see who it was, she was met with the sight of Hercules, the father of her child, standing in the doorway with a look of shock on his face.
Athena quickly grabbed a towel and wrapped it around herself, her face turning red with embarrassment. She couldn't believe this was happening, especially since she had taken a vow of chastity along with Artemis and Hestia.
"Well, well, well," Athena said, trying to play it cool. "If it isn't the father of my child. I didn't know you had a thing for pregnant women."
Hercules stammered an apology, his eyes wide with shock and a hint of desire. Athena couldn't help but notice the way he was looking at her, his gaze lingering on her curves.
"I-I was looking for you," Hercules said, his voice shaking. "I need to talk to you about something important."
Athena raised an eyebrow, intrigued. She couldn't imagine what he could possibly want to discuss with her, especially since they had only shared one night together.
"Spit it out then," she said, her tone clipped. "I don't have all day."
Hercules took a deep breath and gathered his courage. "I want to be a part of our child's life," he said, his voice steady. "I want to be there for the birth and raise the child together."
Athena was taken aback. She never expected this from him, especially since they had only had a one-night stand. She knew it wasn't traditional for a goddess to raise a child with a mortal, but she couldn't deny the pull she felt towards Hercules.
She considered his request, her mind racing. She knew she had to be careful, she had to make sure that Hercules was worthy of being a part of their child's life.
"Fine," she said, her voice firm. "But there are conditions."
Hercules eagerly agreed, ready to take on any challenge. Athena smirked, already thinking of ways to test him.
"First," she said, "you must prove your strength and bravery. You must go on a quest and bring back something of great value."
Hercules nodded, ready to take on the task. "And second," Athena continued, "you must prove your loyalty and devotion. You must be willing to do anything for our child, even if it means putting yourself in danger."
Hercules agreed, his determination unwavering. Athena nodded, satisfied with his response.
"Good," she said, dismissing him. "Come back when you're ready. I will be waiting."
Hercules left, and Athena sank back into the bath, her mind still racing. She couldn't believe what had just happened, but she knew it was for the best. She just hoped she was making the right decision.
The water lapped gently at her skin as she sat in the bath, deep in thought. She was a goddess, she was powerful, but she couldn't deny the feelings she had for Hercules. She just hoped that he was worthy of being a part of their child's life.
As she lay there, she couldn't help but think about the night they had spent together. The way he had looked at her, the way he had touched her. She felt a stirring in her loins, a heat that she hadn't felt in a long time. She closed her eyes and let out a sigh, her mind filled with thoughts of Hercules and the challenges that lay ahead.
