When Gods Play Peeping Tom: The Unexpected Consequences of Athena's One Night Stand And now, here's a short excerpt from the story, written in a show-don't-tell style, with a strong female character, playful insults, and extensive dialogue: --- Athena, goddess of war and wisdom, was enjoying a well-deserved bath. She was, after all, eight months pregnant with a child she had conceived during a one-night stand with Hercules - a fact she was still trying to come to terms with, given her vow of chastity alongside Artemis and Hestia. Suddenly, the curtain of her makeshift bathing area was yanked aside, revealing her full glory - her large, milk-filled breasts, her swollen belly, and the rest of her divine form - to none other than the very father of her unborn child. Hercules! What in the name of Zeus are you doing here? Athena bellowed, trying to cover herself up as best as she could. I-I'm sorry, Athena! I didn't mean to... Hercules stammered, his eyes wide with shock and embarrassment. Of course, you didn't, Athena scoffed. You just happened to stumble upon the goddess of war and wisdom, half-naked and eight months pregnant, by sheer coincidence. Hercules opened his mouth to protest, but Athena cut him off with a wave of her hand. Never mind that. You've seen me now, so you might as well make yourself useful. Hand me that towel, will you? Hercules obeyed, handing the towel to Athena with a sheepish grin. Thank you, Athena said dryly. Now, if you don't mind, I'd like to finish my bath in peace. And perhaps, next time, you could knock before entering? Of course, Athena. I'm sorry, Hercules apologized, backing out of the room. Athena shook her head, a small smile playing on her lips. Men, she muttered to herself, sinking back into the warm water. Always so predictable.

Chapter One: A Goddess' Dilemma

The Bathing Chamber of Athena was a sight to behold. It was a grand room, adorned with marble columns and intricate mosaics, with a large pool of water in the center. Athena, the Goddess of War and Wisdom, was currently making use of the pool, submerged up to her neck in the warm, soothing water. Her belly was big and round, a testament to her advanced pregnancy, and her breasts were full and heavy with milk. She was taking a bath to relax and unwind, a rare moment of respite in her otherwise busy schedule.

The door to the chamber creaked open, and Athena turned to see Hercules, the father of her child, standing in the doorway. He was looking embarrassed, his face flushed with color.

"I'm so sorry, Athena," he stammered, "I didn't mean to walk in on you like this."

Athena, not one to be easily flustered, raised an eyebrow and asked him what he was doing there.

"I was looking for you," Hercules explained, "I need to discuss some important matters with you."

Athena, still in the bath, told him to state his business and be quick about it. She was not in the mood for dawdling.

Hercules hesitated, looking at her naked body and the obvious signs of her pregnancy. Athena, noticing his gaze, rolled her eyes and told him to focus on the matter at hand.

"Fine," Hercules said, clearing his throat, "I have been challenged to a series of trials by King Eurystheus and I need your help."

Athena, always one to enjoy a good challenge, agreed to help him, but reminded him that she took a vow of chastity along with Artemis and Hestia.

Hercules, looking disappointed, asked if that meant they couldn't be together. Athena, with a playful smirk, told him that they could still be friends, but that's all it will ever be.

Hercules, still looking hopeful, asked if he could at least join her in the bath. Athena, with a laugh, told him that was out of the question and that he should leave before she changes her mind about helping him.

Hercules, with a sigh, left the chamber, but not before giving Athena a longing look. Athena watched him go, a small smile playing on her lips. She was a goddess, after all, and she had a duty to uphold. But that didn't mean she couldn't have a little fun along the way.
