When Hestia Got More Than She Bargained For: Aphrodite's Surprise Pregnancy Party Favor

Chapter One: A Surprise of Godly Proportions

Aphrodite stood in front of the mirror, her hands trembling as she held two positive pregnancy tests. She had always been careful, but somehow, she had let her guard down. A knock on the door startled her, and she quickly hid the tests behind her back.

"Aphrodite, it's me, Hestia," the goddess of the hearth called out.

Aphrodite took a deep breath and opened the door. "Hey, Hestia. What's up?"

Hestia took one look at Aphrodite's tear-streaked face and frowned. "What's wrong, Aphrodite? You look like you've seen a ghost."

Aphrodite showed Hestia the pregnancy tests, and the goddess's eyes widened. "You're pregnant?"

Aphrodite nodded. "I know, it's a shock. I just found out."

Hestia raised an eyebrow. "Well, that's quite the surprise. Who's the father?"

Aphrodite took a deep breath. "It's Hephaestus."

Hestia's eyes widened even further. "Your ex-husband? The god of fire and metalworking? Aphrodite, I don't want to be rude, but how drunk were you that you got knocked up by your ex-husband?"

Aphrodite couldn't help but laugh at Hestia's playful insult. "I was not drunk, Hestia. We had a one-night stand at a party eight weeks ago."

Hestia put an arm around Aphrodite's shoulders. "Well, this is certainly a surprise. Let's get you to the hospital to confirm the pregnancy and find out how many little gods or goddesses you have in there."

At the hospital, Aphrodite lay on the hospital bed, dressed in a gown, as the doctor confirmed the pregnancy.

"Congratulations, you're pregnant," the doctor said with a smile.

Aphrodite asked, "How many babies?"

The doctor smiled even wider. "Twins."

Aphrodite gasped, and Hestia said, "Twins? Well, that's certainly a surprise."

Aphrodite looked at Hestia and said, "I know, right? I'm going to be outnumbered at home."

Hestia laughed. "Well, you're the goddess of love and beauty. I'm sure you'll handle it with grace and style."

Aphrodite smiled. "I hope so. I just need to figure out how to tell Hephaestus."

Hestia squeezed Aphrodite's hand. "Don't worry, we'll figure it out together."

Aphrodite felt a sense of relief. She may not have planned this pregnancy, but she knew she had the support of her fellow goddesses. And with their help, she would navigate this new chapter of her life with strength, control, and grace.
