Nick slouched on the couch, his eyes glazing over as he watched the same cartoon play on the TV for the hundredth time. Babysitting Kaylee was usually a breeze, but tonight, she seemed to have an endless amount of energy.
"Nick, why do you look so bored?" Kaylee asked, her tiny voice piercing through the silence.
Nick turned to her, a playful smirk on his face. "I'm bored because I'm stuck with a five-year-old who can't even play video games."
Kaylee stuck her tongue out at him, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "That's not very nice, Nick. Want to play a game with me instead?"
